Muslim Message to David Bishop, Brentford South Conservative Candidate

David, Islam does not allow rape, I hope you recognise this and apologise (if you have not already done so). Also as a Muslim I'd like to invite you to Islam:

People can be transformed. The opponents of the Prophet (p) were particularly vicious against Muslims. Hind actually bit into the liver of the Prophet's uncle, Hamzah, when he was martyred at the Battle of Uhud. However, she later became a Muslim, and hence became a Companion of the Prophet (p), a member of that special generation of humanity. In fact, she even narrated hadith which can be found in the well-known compilations. Repentance is a recourse that the Lord of the World's has given humanity. [p129, Purification of the Heart by Hamza Yusuf]

Invitation to Islam

Jesus taught people to do the Will of God (according to Mark 3:35) in order to become his brothers, mothers or sisters. A Muslim means one who submits to the Will of God. Do you want to become a brother/sister of Jesus? If yes, become a Muslim.

Clip from The Independent:
A Conservative local election candidate who tweeted that it was good to be anti-Islam and that the Islam was the "religion of rape", has had to resign just weeks after being chosen to represent the party in the Brentwood local elections.

David Bishop, who was due to stand as the Conservative candidate for the ward of Brentwood South, Essex, later this month, resigned yesterday after local press discovered anti-Islamic and homophobic tweets on his twitter account. [source]

Some good news in Britain

A record number of Britons gave over £1 million to charity, according to the Sunday Times’ list.

Pop stars like Elton John, boy band One Direction and Chris Martin from Coldplay were among 165 donors who gave away £1 million.

The figures come from accounts lodged with the Charities Commission, public announcement of gifts and fund-raising events.
