The scripture is quoting a parable, and these words are spoken by the newly appointed king, in the story, who says, as spoken, that if they do not want to accept me as king, bring my enemies before me and slay them. While the new king is referred to as the "lord", because of his position of wealth and ownership, he is not being referred to as "Lord" in the usage we have, that is, referring to the Lord God.
The funniest thing is that the Muslim never actually answered the question. I did not hear from him a satisfactory answer as to how one attains salvation in Islam. Simply following Tawheed is not enough. Any modestly learned Muslim scholar knows this. Even Muhammad admitted he did not know if he would attain salvation. On the other hand, if you die in Jihad, fighting in the cause of Allah, you are promised paradise.
All the Muslim did was engage in cheap preplanned theatrics with his little cue-card. Nice slight of hand and non sequiturs might impress you Yahya, but they don't impress me. Of course I can see why he wouldn't want to explain how one is certain of salvation in Islam.
I have to honest and say the Muslim didn't make a good point at all.

I agree with you that the passage is a parable , but it's well understood that it's referring to the end of days , when Jesus comes back and kills the unbelievers who refuses to accept him as lord and savior , which doesn't sound peaceful to me .

Nobody engages in more theatrics that christian missionaries....'God is love' , 'God loves you'..bla bla bla , where was all that in the old testament ? Back when I considered Christianity what prevented me from making the choice was my rejection of the old testament .
You make a correct point ,following Tawheed is not good enough , did you consider the Quran and what it says ? the answer is there :
Surah 103 : The Declining Day, Eventide, The Epoch
1. By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), 2. Verily Man is in loss, 3. Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
The conditions for salvation are well explained in the Quran .
As for Muhammad (pbuh) not knowing if he is saved , that's totally false ! those hadiths as Muslim scholars explained them were referring to his state in this life , he doesn't what Allah (swt) will do to him IN THIS LIFETIME , even the Muslims at the time of Muhammad (pbuh) knew he is forgiven and will enter paradise .
