If you check Wikipedia‘s world map of pornography (18+) laws you will realise NO Muslim country is in green. Green represents “pornography legal”. Pornography is not legal in Muslim countries.
Islamophobes have latched on to unreliable stats from Google Trends and Insights and derided Pakistan and Muslims. Before moving onto the “stats” related to Pakistan and Islam’s view on such material we should present a few home truths
Who produces and profiteers from pornographic material? Not the Muslims!
Islamophobes would do well to realise Muslims are not the big players in this sordid affair. Online Education’s pie chart of worldwide pornography revenues shows China (28%), Korea (27%), Japan (21%) and the US (14%) as the biggest players – in fact NO Muslim country is even mentioned by name.
The US spends over $13 billion on porn; companies like Time Warner, GM and Marriot make millions selling erotica according to Online Education.
Is Pakistan “number one for porn”?
I recently heard a Christian host from a missionary TV station claim such. This is obvious nonsense for two reasons: firstly pornography is ILLEGAL in Pakistan, secondly as a POOR country the people there are hardly going to be spending cash on copious pornography!
What about internet pornography in Pakistan?
Again, it comes down to LOGIC. According to Internet World Stats (2009) the number of internet users in Pakistan was estimated to be 18.5 million in total. Now, are you REALLY trying to tell me less than 20 million Pakistanis are topping the WORLD pornography statistics?!?!?
In fact, Pakistan is NOT even in the top 10 for keyword searches such as “porn” and “sex”! No Muslim country is in the top ten for the keyword “porn”. So what are the Islamophobes using to impugn Pakistan?
The Islamophobes cite SELECTIVE keywords to attack the Pakistani (Muslim)
They have used a “few of the least popular keywords when it comes to pornography” – these word searches would hardly yield the “most” pornography due to the nature of the keywords as well as restrictions imposed by Pakistan; the state “has often blocked access to pornographic sites and sites with anti-Islamic content” [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8691406.stm]
For a more thorough understanding of how Fox News has impugned Pakistan unfairly – please see:
http://propakistani.pk/2010/07/15/pakistan-or-pornistan/
The stats are NOT even reliable
The statistics the Islamophobes are using are unreliable. “Internet Service Provider Association of Pakistan declared the statistics regarding pornography in Pakistan as flawed” and Theresa Lim (Google communications) confirmed the stats are statistically unsound:
“May contain inaccuracies because the sample size is too small for the results to be statistically sound.” [http://propakistani.pk/2010/07/19/pakistan-top-in-porn-search-google-denies/]
The Islamophobes are using such “data” in their attempts to deride and dehumanize Muslims. Somebody needs to tell them their data is unsound and thus they should stop insulting Muslims with such outrage. In any case, pornography is deemed unislamic.
Is pornography allowed in Islam? No.
Watching pornography is forbidden, whether a person is married or not. The one who does that has to repent to Allah - Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid [http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/12301]
Clarification - What is “pornographic” by Muslim standards?
“Perhaps most Muslims think that pornography is only that uncensored filth that is accessible through XXX movies and certain Internet sites, but in fact, by Islamic standards, much of what is considered normal in advertising is actually pornographic. The purpose of these seductive images is to arouse the lower desires of people and to weaken their self-restrain and taint their thoughts. It bombards the Muslim, especially the youth, with indecent and suggestively seductive images. Unfortunately, most Muslims are so oblivious of the presence and influence of these Shaytanic (Satanic) images, that they regularly view them through various types of media”
“The Islamic solution to living in a society where pornographic images are so visible is to lower one's gaze”

Solving the pornography problem
In the UK we have been discussing increasing controls on pornography. In the West, pornography has become a real societal problem which is affecting us in the workplace, homes and schools. Muslim countries have the right idea in prohibiting such a satanic tool. Sharia (Islamic Law) would theoretically solve the problem of pornography by making it illegal.

Since the West represents Christian civilization, and 99% of pornography is produced in the West, Christian civilization is responsible for pornography.

you know yahya, pakistan is currently VERY westernized, so much its embarassing for me to be pakistani. islam isn't visible anymore, people there murder, rape, drink, gamble, adulter, and take the laws into their own hands. why does pakistan have terrorism daily? how come natural disasters are common? maybe it's a message from God telling them to wake up and grow up. no muslim country acts like pakistan.
ReplyDeleteI have 13 channels from pakistan, including a channel called QTV (Quran TV). sure they have some good Islamic material but other thasn that its draama's featuring people who date, dance, go the bar etc.
i'm gonna have to agree with the islamophobes this one time. because of the 18 million internet users in pakistan, "sex" is the most searched up followed by "education".
this is Christianity importing its holy spirit values in our lands. and thats why muslim countries like pakistan are suffering.
also, pakistan has a 40% literacy rate. AND what they call a literate person is anyone with 2 or more years of schooling. stats show only 15% of pakistani's attend university. a majority of the students currently in paki uni's are international.
ReplyDeleteI've a few posts about Pakistan in my blog. the real "blasphemy law" is how pakistani's are and how their government is.
Dear Lord, help the Muslim Ummah.
NEW DELHI: 'MS Nanny' may have decided to shut down unpoliced chat rooms, but the number of commercial pornography web pages on the Internet has increased by nearly 1,800 per cent over the past five years.
ReplyDeleteAccording to a global Internet content filtering company N2H2, the number of pornography-related Internet pages grew from 14 million in 1998 to roughly 260 million in 2003 with over 28 million new pornographic web pages appearing in the month of July alone this year.
Pornography Industry Statistics provided by the Internet Filer Review has estimated the industry at $57 billion world-wide, with $12 billion only in US. According to the statistics porn revenue is larger than combined revenues of all professional football, baseball and basketball franchises in the US and the revenue exceeds the combined revenues of ABC, CBS, and NBC (6.2 billion).
Child pornography alone generates $3 billion annually and the average age of first Internet exposure to pornography 11 years old. Figures revealed nearly 90 per cent of children aged 8 - 16 who have access to the Internet have viewed pornographic sites while doing their homework.
Information provided by Internet Porn Statistics showed there are about 4.2 million pornographic websites constituting 12 per cent of total websites. The pornographic pages constitute 372 million hits and pornographic search requests have been put at 68 million daily - 25 per cent of total search engine requests.
"The pervasiveness of Internet pornography highlights the continued need for effective solutions to prevent liability issues in the workplace, government agencies and schools," an N2H2 official remarked.
tres interessant, merci

L'exploitation de femmes "musulmanes" dans l'industrie pornographique
ReplyDeleteThe pornography and erotica the West produces is for purposes of psychological warfare and degradation of Muslims and people of minority ethnics such as Hindus, Sikhs, Blacks, Latinas, Asians, Easter Europeans (Slavs, Romanians, Gipsies, Turkish) and Africans.
Typical exaggerated descriptions and fantasised stereotypes include:
When I arrived in Europe, no man had ever touched me. At 25 years of age, I was still a virgin. As a frustrated virgin, I decided to take my revenge. Filled with fantasies, and motivated by a desire to catch up on lost time, I discovered sex, men, @#$%&, and gang-bangs.
According to her website, she tours France performing in public gang-bangs and actually invites viewers to sign up to have sex with her. Other websites featuring French Arabs include: Sexy Beurettes, Les Beurettes, Sexe Beurettes, Beurettes Insoumises, Video de Rebeu, Belles Maghrebines, Beurettes en Chaleur, Beurettes vicieuses, Arabe Sexy, Chaudasses du 93, Filles Arabes, Secretaire Beurette, Jolie Beurette, Photos Gratuites Beurettes, Beurettes Soumisses, Spécial Marocaine, among many others. Several of the sites stress on the words soumises and insoumises, “submissive” and “not submissive,” both of which are plays on the word Muslim, which means “one who submits.” The website includes a video of a French Arab girl who fellates five men while locked in a cage, each one coming to fruition on her face. In a video featured on Beurettes Rebelles, “Malika’s Gang-Bang in Morocco,” one of the three men who take advantage of her wears nothing but a necklace with the hand of Fatimah, a symbol which holds much significance for Muslims throughout the world.
Besides, there is a huge market, particularly in Europe, for movies featuring French and North African Arabs, so much so that beurette movies have become a genre on their own, much like the Oriental, Black, and Latina-themed films produced in the United States. These films include Oriental Lover produced by Stan Lubrick, which features Arab porn stars wearing veils and turbans. Others include Beurette Academie produced by Jean-Claude Bauman and Jean-Pierre Charmontel and the series Beurettes sans tabous and A nous les petites beurettes produced by Lucy Video. The cover of the second volume this last series includes images of the crescent star, a sacred symbol of Islam, while the third volume contains images of mosques. Many of these movies openly mock the traditional morality of Muslims, such as, “They don’t care if they don’t make it to marriage as virgins. The men they will marry will not be good @#$%&. They must take advantage of their freedom while they can. Of, course, their asses have not been virgin for a long time and it’s such a pleasure to see them ripped apart.” Another particularly disturbing tendency is the popularity of gang-rape films in France. Called tournantes, some of these films feature French Arab women. Considering the rampant problem of gang-rapes of Muslim girls in the slums of France, such movies can only encourage violence.
ReplyDeleteBy far, the worst is Beurettes Rebelles where veiled women with names like Hafida, Nadia, Rachida, Lyam, Nedzma, Aicha, Karima, Djamila, and Fatima, among many others, are penetrated by all possible means. The front page of the web site includes an ad which states: “We are looking for young Arab girls to star in adult films. We pay up to 350 Euros per session” At the current rate of exchange, that’s a maximum of 442.47 USD for the prettiest Arab girls to get violated by various men, orally, vaginally, and anally. This is only one example of pornographers who are actively recruiting young Arab women, the vast majority of which are Muslims, to act in porno films. The web site includes a disclaimer which states that:
This sites is inspired by the Thousand and One Arabic Nights where veiled women are the very symbol of Oriental eroticism. Certain girls, wishing to remain anonymous until the end, simply wear to veil to remain masked. Others remove the veil during the course of filming, unveiling themselves entirely. A religious character must never be given to these veils. This site has no relation whatsoever with religion.
Evidently, none but an imbecile would believe these words. At no time is the hijab eroticized in the Thousand and One Arabian Nights, Shaykh Nefzawi’s Perfumed Garden or Harun al-Makhzumi’s Sources of Pleasure. The web site, with its Oriental imagery, Arabic writing, and superimposed images of naked Arab women masturbating next to mosques, minarets, and even oil wells, is focused exclusively with exploiting the veil fetish and the traditional taboo placed on Muslim women
The whole idea of porno stars wearing nothing but black headscarves, face-veils and burqas, is ludicrous. It is simply absurd that a woman would remove all her clothing to be gang-banged while refusing to unveil herself. As the hijab is one of the major symbols of the Muslim faith, representing virginity, chastity, and purity, allowing men to ravage young Arab women and ejaculate on their faces and veils is nothing less than a direct desecration of a sacred symbol. It is as offensive to Muslim sensibilities as it is to Christians when porn stars pose as nuns or wear crosses around their necks as they are subjected to serial sex. Since the adult film industry is dominated by “non-Jewish Jews,” as Luke Ford would call them, the intent can only be viewed as subversive, deliberately exploiting Arab, Indian, Hindu, Sikh, Black, Latina and even Persian girls.
Whether they are viewed as nominal Muslims, cultural Muslims, bad Muslims or non-Muslims, the women who appear in these pornographic productions are presented as Arab and Persian Muslims. This is what makes them appealing. This is what makes them arousing. They are rarely ravished by Arab men, and never by Persian men. They are violated and desecrated by non-Muslim men, white and black, who are mainly nominal Jews or Christians. In adult films, black men and women never have sex together. While Jewish men and white men are free to have sex with whom they please, black men can only serve white women and black women can only be served by white men. Clearly, the purpose of porn is to divide the black man and the black woman. In the case of Muslims, the motivation is the same. The objective of Arab and Persian porn is to wage war against Muslim women, to defile them, degrade them, and discard them, to objectify them for political purposes and to assault the honor of Islam. It is thus the collective obligation of all Muslims to pressure the producers, ordering them to shut down their sites and stop producing such porn. If they fail to comply, they should be subjected to a class-action suit coordinated by Islamic associations throughout the world on charges of religious defamation.

Actress Veena Malik on Thursday claimed she had been threatened by the Taliban.
ReplyDeleteMalik, who is currently in India appearing on television shows for the cricket World Cup, told Express 24/7 that she had received a letter from the Taliban four days ago via a media house in Pakistan. On the authentication of the letter, Malik said she had spoken to representatives of the media house, who confirmed its legitimacy.
Malik says the letter has been sent from a Ahmed Masood of the Taliban. The contents of the letter threaten to give Malik ‘exemplary punishment for her work in India’, she claims. Malik said that the letter also threatens her family and that if anything happened to them she would hold the government responsible.
She said that she will not seek asylum in India, stating that running away was not an option and that she would return to Pakistan. Malik said that the Indian authorities had provided her with security and she was getting in touch with Pakistani authorities to inform them of the situation.
Malik had recently participated in the fourth season of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss.
