The racist are really coming out of the woodwork after the terror attack in Woolwich.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at an Islamic cultural centre in Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
CCTV appears to show three petrol bombs being thrown over the gate of the building on Weelsby Road.
Sky's North of England Correspondent Gerard Tubb, who has seen the footage, said they hit a door, wall and rubbish bin.
"A man then rushed out of the mosque and through the flames before grabbing a fire extinguisher to put the blaze out," he said.
Diler Gharib, chairman of the mosque, told the Grimsby Telegraph: "We had just finished our prayers and were discussing how to thank our neighbours for the support they have shown us over the past few days when we heard a bang and saw fire coming under the door.
"I grabbed a fire extinguisher and put it out and then two more petrol bombs hit the fire escape and the bin so I had to put those out too."
The mosque was targeted last week when a brick was thrown through a window, shattering a pane of glass that fell onto a sofa below.
There had been a police presence around the building and an officer arrived moments after the fire was extinguished.A spokesman for Humberside Police said no one was injured in the fire.

ReplyDelete“While nothing can justify the savage attacks on mosques over the last few days by men since confirmed to be members of the EDL, it should not be hard to explain why these attacks have occurred. . . . It should by now be self-evident that by Muslims either blowing up buses or hacking to death British soldiers on British soil, you will occasionally spawn twisted and, as we seen over the past few days, even violent hatred at home. We need to recognize that, given the continued role that some British Muslim citizens have chosen to play in the seditious traitorous Jihadi attacks on British soil, we are lucky that these attacks are so few and far between.”
BTW
The EDL and BNP have nothing to do with Islamaphobia or bigotry. Hey if Muslims can live in a fantasy world so can I.
Hi RadMod,
ReplyDeleteAlways interesting to read from Paul's blog. I'm glad you frequent it as well. Feel free to get involved in some of the dialogues in the comment sections there - the brothers and sisters there are up for dialogues.
Dialogue is what we require in times like these.
At the end of the day, we know there is a political war taking place - we are folk who are caught in the middle of it.
I'm just in the process of uploading a video of a Coptic Southern Baptist fundamentalist pastor who believes President Obama is a Muslim.
Thanks
PS If you really believe Islam is the cause behind terrorism then to be consistent you will have to believe The OT is behind Jewish terrorism and the Bible is behind Christian terrorism. The fact remains, people will try to use anything to justify their deeds.
ReplyDeleteThanks

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I have deleted your comment.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to learn about Islam then you have to go to scholarship. Hamza Yusuf (a scholar) even tells you Saudi scholars condemn terrorism.

Scholarship is important. I don't know if you are a follower of some of the Christians we refute on here who happen to be collecting cash for their 'work' despite having no qualifications in Islam at all.
Yahya Snow
ReplyDeleteYou asked:
"PS If you really believe Islam is the cause behind terrorism..."
My Response:
First terrorism is a generic term almost a buzz word now. Terrorism is just a weapon, a tool that is used by men to achieve a political solution.
So no I do not believe that Islam is the cause behind terrorism.
However Islam is the CAUSE for Jihad and that is what these two men did, Jihad on a British soldier.
ReplyDeleteRadmod,
We don't know the motives and mental states of those two men.
You know, in America Christian folk have bombed abortion clinics. One would imagine Christianity would have been the chief motor for these folk.
Jihad is a just struggle.
Scholars would not consider the actions of Michael Adebolojo and his friend to be Jihad.
Scholarship is important.
Rad,
ReplyDeleteHere is a video you may find interesting, it's of a Muslim scholar (Yasir Qadhi) condemning the Boston bombings:

Thanks
Yahya, deleting comments you can't refute is only proof that you have no cogent answers. If you had an answer for me, then you would have let my comment remain and would have provided the answer.
ReplyDeleteSince you are trying to work for and merit your "god's" love and approval and all the dainties and carnal pleasures he holds out for you, then you are the epitome of those who get "paid," at least you think you will but are sadly mistaken, for the "work" that you do very poorly on this blog.

ReplyDelete“We don't know the motives and mental states of those two men.”
My response:
I would of responded sooner, but I had to clean off my keyboard and monitor after reading that. Seriously man please give a warning when ever your going to say something that funny.
So let me see if I can understand the extra special world you live in.
A young British man coverts to Islam, is seen for years at demo's led by Amjem Chauldry. Amjem himself does not deny knowing this man.
This young man is detained in Kenya while trying to cross the border into Somalia, the place he was trying to cross the border just happens to be a hot bed of Islamic Jihadi activity. BTW all though he is black, he is of Nigerian descent not Somali.
On his return, this young man with an un-named accomplice in broad daylight, ran an active duty soldier down, dragged his body into the street, then proceeded to hack him to death, partially decapitating him, all to the little diddy of “Allah Akbar”.
He then stood around with bloody hands, bloody knife, and a bloody meat cleaver, telling anyone who would listen with a video recorder and the entire world that .
1. The only reason we have killed this man today is because Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers and this British soldier is one… (I say again this man is a British citizen, he is of Nigerian descent not Afgani, or Iraqi, or Pakistani, or even Somali.)
2. “We are forced by the Quran in Surat Al Toba” (his words)… “many many ayat through out the Quran.” (Again HIS WORDS) “That we must fight them as they fight us… an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth… “ (Did I mention these are HIS WORDS)
All of this and you can say:
“We don't know the motives and mental states of those two men.”
Snowman tell me and please be honest for a change. When you wrote those words did you at least crack a smile? When you and other Muslims say things like that with a straight face in public, do you have to practice first in front of a mirror or think of dead Muslim babies so you wont bust out laughing or at least crack a sinister grinn?
As far as the young mans mental state, I would say he was hopped up on Islam. He was really calm, and coherent. Wasn't rambling about Angels, or making nonsensical mathematical calculations, or blabbering about space aliens, he wasn't wearing tin foil on his head, accusing people with cell phones of trying to steal his brain waves. The only thing he was on was Islam, the only thing he had in his head was the Quran plain and simple.
Motive
ReplyDeletemr blake ----> Now Professor Shenk asked Shabir this question
ReplyDeleteNow you were talking about forgiveness, but God is also just. A judge can’t just forgive people. Now does the case for justice need to be fulfilled. How does God match justice with forgiveness? I believe that justice was done on the cross by the Messiah in Isaiah 53.
Shabir Ally replied back saying:
There are two wrongs that we can do, one is wronging human beings and the other is wronging God. If we wrong God, it is simply within God’s prerogative to simply forgive us and let us go. If we wrong other human beings, then God could forgive us by recompensing that other person for his or her loss or we recompense them our selves so justice is fulfilled and our forgiveness is guaranteed. Now do human judges have authority to forgive? Yes they do, as you can see if someone had a parking ticket and appropriate excuse, like he was in a hurry etc. he would be forgiven. It is true that judges do not have ultimate authority to forgive because they have authority above them, they have to answer to the state, to the people, and so they have to make it appear that justice is being done. On the other hand, God is not comparable to this human judge in this sense because God is the ultimate authority and no one can question him. Now your solution doesn’t work, because if you say that God took the place of us in the courtroom that means that he becomes the criminal and who is there to condemn God. If God himself is the criminal then who is the judge?http://www.answering-christianity.com/bassam_zawadi/rebuttal_to_slick_1.htm

ReplyDeleteWe don't know the motive behind the firebombing of this Masjid.
Like I said if you can live in your fantasy world, I can live in mine.
To the "Anonymous" person who replied to me:
ReplyDeleteThat has absolutely nothing to do with anything I said or that is being talked about on this post.
The illustration is also horribly flawed, not the least because Shabir is just making the arbitrary assertion that God forgives willy-nilly, without any regard for satisfying His own justice. Christians don't believe that God's attributes are in conflict with one another or that one must be sacrificed to the other. But that isn't the topic, so try to keep up.
P.S. Mr Anonymous, maybe if you are lucky Yahya will erase my comment so you don't look so stupid. He does it all the time when I catch him fibbing or making bad arguments, so it is worth a try.

Let me know which will work for you.
Hi RM!
ReplyDelete"1. The only reason we have killed this man today is because Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers and this British soldier is one… (I say again this man is a British citizen, he is of Nigerian descent not Afgani, or Iraqi, or Pakistani, or even Somali.)"
This is a geopolitical reason, not necessarily a religious one.
"2. “We are forced by the Quran in Surat Al Toba” (his words)… “many many ayat through out the Quran.” (Again HIS WORDS) “That we must fight them as they fight us… an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth… “
He actually cites Surah at Tawbah for his views, but nowhere in that Surah does it mention an eye for an eye argument, nor does it say civilian mob justice is halaal.
Islam does not separate geopolitical issues from religious issues. It pretends to be a holistic approach to life. When the man says he did it because British soldiers are killing Muslims, he is implying that it is just for Muslims to kill people who are themselves implicated in such practices.
ReplyDeleteWhen he goes on to cite the Qur'an, the statement "eye for an eye" would be intended as part of the "many many ayat throughout the Qur'an," not necessarily Surah 9, though he does explicitly refer to that chapter.
But it was a nice try, I suppose.
Snow, post this:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om-a-qoI5qU
Was the guy a former Christian? The saying eye for an eye is what lots of Christians say. Is this from his Christian past?
ReplyDeleteI Don't know if the guy ever was a Christian, but he has been a Muslim for quite some time to say the least, was steeped in the Qur'an and Islamic teaching, and an eye for an eye is repeated in the Qur'an, though it is divorced from its Biblical context, unfortunately. So the man was purely going on Muhammadan steam.
ReplyDeleteIjaz part 1
ReplyDeleteIjaz aka Slandering Christians don't you have your own blog that gets 1000's of hits. Oh thats right no one goes to your blog. It must be pretty lonely at the CC website for you to come trolling in the snow.
So why did u flat line on me from out previous conversation? Was it because I exposed you in front of all your Muslim friends for being the slanderous lying Muslim we all know you to be?
Ijaz you wrote...
“This is a geopolitical reason, not necessarily a religious one.”
My Response:
An anonymous commenter briefly exposed your lie, but lets dig a little deeper into your statement.
So what does a British born citizen, have to do with people in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, and Pakistan?
What does this British born citizen who is Nigerian share in common with Afgani's, Iraqi's, Somali's and Pakastani's?
Why is this British born citizen who is Nigerian by ancestry, relating to people thousands of miles away, from a culture and religion that is completely foreign and alien to his British citizenship his Nigerian ancestry and his Christian up bringing?
Why did this British born citizen, who is Nigerian by ancestry, and was raised in a Christian family, run over and hack to death his fellow countryman, in broad daylight in the middle of the street in his own county?
Was it because he is a British citizen that he killed a soldier from his own nation? Did he say “for Queen and country I do this” as he hacked to death a man in the streets of London?
I think not.
Was it because he is Nigerian that he killed a British soldier? Did he say “because he was English and I am Nigerian I do this” when he ran over the British soldier? Again I think not.
Was it because he was raised by his Christian family that he killed his own countryman? Did he say “I did this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” or “Because Christ is Lord” as he explained with blood soaked hands, and a bloody butcher knife to anyone who wanted to video record him? Again I think not?
Instead this man very calmly, and rationally explains his MOTIVES.
“ The only reason we have killed this man today is because Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers and this British soldier is one… “ His WORDS NOT MINE or DAVID WOODS, of ANYONE ELSE.
“We are forced by the Quran in Surat Al Toba” [sic] (his words)… “many many ayat through out the Quran.” (Again HIS WORDS) “That we must fight them as they fight us… an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth… “ (Did I mention these are HIS WORDS)
Notice he does not say “I did this for geopolitical reasons not because of religious reasons”.
To the contrary he says the reason he did this is because Muslims are being killed by British soldiers just like the one he killed, and that as a Muslim he is “FORCED” to kill and then goes on to site a few verses from the Qur’an including one from “Surah at Tawbah” and as he says “many verses in the Qur'an.”
So he made his motives clear, crystal clear unless you are looking through the dirty glasses of Islam.
Ijaz Part 2
ReplyDeleteYou also made the statement.
“He actually cites Surah at Tawbah for his views, but nowhere in that Surah does it mention an eye for an eye argument, nor does it say civilian mob justice is halaal”
My response:
Yes I am quite aware as well as he was that an “eye for an eye” is not in Surah 9. Thats why he said and I accurately quoted him as saying “Many Ayat in the Quran”. He could of quoted other verses like “Fighting is prescribed for you” etc.. As far as a civilian mob is concerned, he was not a civilian mob, he was a jihadi soldier killing another soldier in the act of war. That is perfectly Halaal.
To be honest Ijaz I actually respect this Jihadi. He was not passive aggressive, his attack was not the usual cowardly attack we see from Muslims. He was Islam's equivalent of a smart weapon. He actually went after his target and killed his target with no collateral damage. He did not target civilians he targeted a soldier, he did not detonate a bomb killing and wounding hundreds of civilians. He did not go on a shooting spree or a hacking spree killing the passers by when he was done. No this Jihadi did it right he killed a soldier and not a civilian. You actually should be praising him as a shinning example and not making excuses for him.
Other then the fact he was a British citizen and this was a traitorous act, and the soldier was out of uniform and un armed, and other then the fact that a brave ally of the United States of America was murdered on the streets of his own country. I would have no problem with what he did.
However he doesn't hold a candle to the shining light of the Christian woman who rushed to the scene un armed and stood toe to toe with the blood soaked Muslim.
@Muslim Zeal
ReplyDeleteThanks, have just done that.
That brother is amazing, mashaAllah
@RadMod
ReplyDeleteYou are beginning to sound like James White...asking others to buy stuff for him
Perhaps you learned it from Sam and Dave:)
Anyways, if I bought you a book, would you actually read it with an open heart?
Jake Blake, Shabir is not making that assertion.
ReplyDeleteAs for you catching me fibbing...please stop with these fabrications.
I would like you to look into the David Wood section here:
http://thefactsaboutislam.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/David%20Wood
I would also like to tell you, Dr Nabeel Qureshi may be due a couple of posts soon to add to this:
http://thefactsaboutislam.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Nabeel%20Qureshi
Jake, can I ask, what type of Christian you are?
Yahya, you have erased a number of my posts already that you could not reply to. You will of course pretend I did not catch you red-handed, but since you have erased the evidence you will no doubt claim otherwise. But if you have nothing to hide, nothing you can't respond to, then why erase my comments rather than show how "truth stands out clearly over falsehood"?
ReplyDeleteI don't care about any of the slander you direct at people like David Wood or Nabeel Qureshi or anyone else. This post has nothing to do with either of them. Besides, if your failure to answer me and then erasing my comments so you can claim I am making things up about refuting you is any indication, then I would hardly trust anything you say about anyone. You need to quit talking about honesty and start walking in it.
Also, you are just as off the topic of your own post as the anonymous person above who brought up out of left field the arbitrary claims of Shabir Ally.
Jake,
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what you are referring to.
Please stop painting me in such a way.
I take it you are somebody who follows one or more of the chaps that I blog about. That should not impede on your objectivity.
Can we start off on a better footing?
Thanks
"I have no idea what you are referring to."
ReplyDeleteYou might try paying attention then when you press the "delete" comment button.
"Please stop painting me in such a way."
Please quit deleting comments you can't answer so you can say you are being painted in a bad light.
"I take it you are somebody who follows one or more of the chaps that I blog about. That should not impede on your objectivity."
Your perceived need to refer to personalities shows a lack of objectivity on your part. Can't you discuss the issues rationally? I would love to get you to join me in being objective. So if you are ready to start doing that, it would be great. I have already indicated that I am not interested in your smear campaigns against anyone, especially when I see the irrational way you have dealt thus far with my comments.
So if you want to start off on a better foot, I am happy to see you make these changes and have good discussions with you here or on future posts.
ReplyDeleteI notice that Lebo puts a blurb in the video saying that the proof of his assertion for Joseph being 90 at the time of his marriage to Mary can be found in Dale Allison's commentary on Matthew. This is as factually incorrect. Allison says nothing of the sort on page 12.
ReplyDeleteThis man is "amazing"? Surely you are kidding?
Sorry, the last post was supposed to be on another post of yours.
