Nobody is taking it out of context. Clearly the bloke in the video believes the Bible allows rape based on those comments (unless he was lying).
The fact these women were allowed a mourning period and then married does not mean anything with regards to this video. The chap in the video categorically indicates that he does not believe any sane woman would willingly sleep with somebody who has killed her family members.
Thus being allowed a period of mourning and then later married is irrelevant as we are simply discussing the views of the chap I the video.

Why is this important?Because most of Mosaic Law was given on Mt Sinai,BEFORE the Numbers 31 incident.
LEVITICUS WAS GIVEN BEFORE THE INCIDENT
Leviticus end in Leviticus 27:34:
"Such were the commandments the Lord gave to Moses for the children of Israel,on Mt.Sinai."
Remember Aaron was ALIVE when those laws were given,and he took part in the Golden Calf incident.

Lev 19:18:
"Love your neighbor as yourself"
Lev. 19:34
"Love the foreigner like yourselfs".
It is a general rule,the Golden Rule,so in basic interpretation,a general idea determines how to interpret an obscure secondary idea or situation.
The Golden Rule in itself goes against rape.
