To Christian Visitors of Muslim Blogs and Websites...

I get the feeling there are more Christians visiting this blog due to recent events. Firstly, that's great - you are more than welcome.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to look into Islam with an open heart. Obviously that doesn't mean running off to the nearest anti-Muslim website and reading what they have to say about Islam. I'm talking about getting and reading a translation of the meanings of the Quran, a few books by Muslims about Islam plus viewing some lectures by Muslim speakers on YouTube such as Yasir Qadhi, Hamza Yusuf, AbdurRaheem Green, Ali Ataie, Shabir Ally, Deen Show (a TV show) amongst others. Try to be sincere and just learn with an open mind and heart.

I would also like to apologise on behalf of Muslims all over the world. Through the internet we have a medium to expose non-Muslims to a great deal of truth about Islam yet we have been slack. There may well be some visitors who come to this blog having known Muslims yet having never been taught anything about Islam.

For those conservative Christians who do visit this blog, I reach out to you also. I ask you to start humbly pondering upon the points being made by Muslims in discussions. Here is a video about the Gospel of John, you may well come across information that is new to you, please ponder upon it - it's not put on here to offend.

Christian Scholar Admits Gospel of John is not Historically Reliable

Invitation to Islam

Jesus taught people to do the Will of God (according to Mark 3:35) in order to become his brothers, mothers or sisters. A Muslim means one who submits to the Will of God. Do you want to become a brother of Jesus? If yes, become a Muslim.

Many avid Christians both professional and lay would have it that the books of the Bible and the four canonical Gospels namely, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are totally infallible and inerrant containing no errors or mistakes of any kind. This is quite a natural position to take for those fundamentalists who believe in Christianity as the truth and the only avenue that offers the way to salvation. They may naturally feel that questioning the validity of the texts that make up the primary sources of their religion undermines the credibility of the message found therein. Nevertheless, there are conservative, honest and candid Christian scholars who have meticulously studied the 5000 or so manuscripts that support the New Testament who are ready and willing to concede that it is beyond the realm of foolhardiness to claim that the books of the New Testament have never been changed. Indeed, to make such a claim is to commit intellectual suicide in the world of academia. In this article we shall explore the degree of reliability of the four canonical Gospels with respect to their authorship by looking at testimonies of the scholars on Christianity.
