I was recently alerted to this Kristiane Backer interview in which she gives her opinion as to the reason why some converts to Islam find it tough and eventually leave Islam:
Rohail (interviewer): One perception is that most of the converted Christians do revert back? Have you ever faced such a situation?
Kristiane Backer: The reason is that converts often feel isolated from their old circle of friends and are not really included in mainstream Muslim communities. This isolation is too hard for some to take. How are Muslims failing converts and what can be done about this questions every Muslims should be asking themselves.
If you are a convert to Islam and are finding yourself isolated or experiencing other issues please feel free to email me:

ReplyDeleteJesus never told anyone to worship him when he walked on this earth to spread the message, why would he than say it in dreams? It couldn't have been Jesus in their dreams.
ReplyDeleteSam, your opinion on what is moral and not is irrelevant for Muslims. We know from our Lord what is right and wrong and submit. The greatest sin, immorality, evil, injustice, the worst thing that a man can ever do in this life is to worship others than Allah and associate partners to Him. That is the greatest injustice. That is the only sin that Allah will never forgive and will lead to eternal fire. And Allah doesn't have a mother or father or son as you say.
When you pray, pray to Allah only and think of the blessings He has given you and accept His Prophets and messengers.
We have about one new convert per week in our masjid, many of them former Christians from Iraq and Syria alhamdulillah. These people had exact same rethoric as you, Allah guides whomever He wills. But whatever you may believe Allahs promise is true
33. He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth that He may make it prevail over all religions, however hateful this may be to those who associate partners with God.9

My response what is your source on that?
My scourge is Islam. Allah the all knowing informs us about this in the Quran 5:116:
ReplyDeleteAnd (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours, truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden and unseen.
