Muslims are blessed according to the Bible (Genesis 12:3)

Muslims are blessed
We already know Muslims are the brothers/sisters of Jesus but do you know it does not stop here; according to the Bible, God says this, whilst addressing Abram (Abraham):

I will bless those who bless you,and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.
(Genesis 12:3 NIV)

Thus Muslims are blessed according to the Bible (Genesis 12:3)

So obviously, those who take this Bible verse seriously will be asking God to send peace and blessings upon Abraham (p).

Muslims do pray for Abraham (and all other Prophets) – when we mention any previous Prophet’s name in everyday conversation we say alaihissalam (peace be on him) – thus according to this passage in the Bible Muslims are indeed blessed.

It is interesting to note Muslims are the ones who maintain this practice of praying for Abraham whilst Christians do not.

  1. Oh my goodness. My Jewish friends are going to laugh uncontrollably at this. Maybe I will have one or two of them stop by and tell you why.

  2. The verses in Genesis 12:1-3 are also fulfilled by what we Muslims are to say 5 times a day in prayer.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 75, Number 368:
"Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila: Ka'b bin 'Ujra met me and said, "Shall I give you a present? Once the Prophet came to us and we said, 'O Allah's Apostle ! We know how to greet you; but how to send 'Salat' upon you? He said, 'Say: Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa 'ala Ali Muhammadin, kama sal-laita 'ala all Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala all Muhammadin, kama barakta 'ala all Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majid."

"O God send your Mercy on Muhammad and his descendants as you sent Your mercy on Abraham and his descendants. You are the Most Praised, The Most Glorious. O God, send your Blessings on Muhammad and his descendants as you have blessed Abraham and his descendants. You are the Most praised, The Most Glorious." (Targhib Wa-Al-Tarhib - 2/405 - Declared Isnad Hasan (Good Chain) By Imam Mundhiri).

We do get blessed by blessing Abraham in prayer, so you can try and laugh all you want, (Anonymous1) the laugh is against yourself as the prophecy is unfulfilled if Muhammad didn't fulfill it.

I emailed him a few days ago - inshaallah I will get word from him soon.

I don't expect it to be anything to do with his blog but rather something to do with his circumstances.

God willing, he will be back soon.

    Thanks
    Peace

  7. Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:

It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:

"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."

When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".

  8. Here is a little joke i read today which pertains to this article so so well.

A Jewish man sent His son to Israel to learn more about the Jewish culture. His son comes back a Christian.

The man goes to his friend Irving. What is going on? I sent my son to Israel and he comes back a Christian. Irving said I sent my son to Israel and he came back a Christian too.

The men decided to seek out a Rabbi’s advice by telling their situation.

The Rabbi said I sent my son to Israel and he came back a Christian also. What is going on with these young folks? Lets pray to the Lord.

Then a voice came down from Heaven and said...

I sent my Son to Israel too!!!

I know you wont get it, Yahya!
