Elton John WRONG about Jesus (pbuh)

Elton John is being reported as claiming that Jesus would have supported gay marriage.

If Elton John really believes what the newspapers are claiming he believes about Jesus then he is clearly in error. Elton John is clearly wrong!

When Jesus (p) returns to earth he will follow Islam. Islam forbids homosexual sex. Clearly Elton John is wrong.

Even if one looks at Christian tradition, one can clearly see that orthodox Christianity would also disagree with Elton John's claims:

According to the NT, Jesus promotes marriage between man and woman as natural and as the only legitimate union. Jesus is reported to have said:

4"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'
5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?
6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." (Matthew 19: 4-6)

If that is not sufficient then there is further (and even stronger) evidence of Jesus opposing the idea of homosexuality. Jesus is reported to have said:

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17)

So, we see through this quotation that Jesus was supporting the Law; we also know Jesus was an expert and a teacher of the Law. So what does the Law say about homosexuality? We can get the answer from Leviticus which reports:

" 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22)

In fact Leviticus goes further by reporting:

" 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. (Leviticus 20:13)

From Minoria:

This is news,I haven't been around for some time.Almost any combination is possible,if not equally probable.Yes,there are many articles that say Elton John said it.I think he really believes it,he is sincere.

Take the case of Irshad Manji, she is lesbian, and in favor of homosexuality, and yet says she is a Muslim.Yet the Koran condemns homosexuality,by logic and by the Koran, she isn't a Muslim. But in spite of the logic against her affirmation she won't concede she is wrong.

Or the case of Nabeel Qureshi. An impartial analysis of the Ahmadi faith shows they are not Muslim since they deny the literal second coming of Jesus, while the Koran indirectly affirms.By logic,Nabeel was never a Muslim, yet he always says he was one.Even in his first book"Seeking Allah,Finding Jesus"(2014) and in an interview in Christianity Today.

One has to learn to believe what is real based on logic and reason.Or take the case of Paul Williams.I read a recent article in answeringabraham about his ideas and the Amalekites, etc and the analysis of the owner of the blog was correct concerning the contradictions in his thinking on the theme.Paul Williams shows the same characteristic as Irshad Manji and Nabeel.

The article also had a comment by Radical Moderate and he is the same.He claims to be a Christian yet he,unlike the owner of the blog, doesn't express himself like one.He uses insulting language, neglecting the command of Jesus:"Be as clever/sly as a serpent and as innocent as a dove".I have noticed he has always been like that since he has been commenting,so by Jesus' standard,he is no Christian.Yet,undeniably he actually, against all logic to the contrary(like in the case of Irshad, for example)believes he is following Jesus.
