American Muslim Girl Converted to Christianity Exposes Christian Missionaries
An American Muslim girl who converted to Christianity is regretful and has left a really insightful comment claiming she was indoctrinated and taken advantage of by Christians - the young lady feels her youth and her Muslim background were taken advantage. She has deep regrets over some of the things she did and was saying while under the influence of the Christian missionary/ies:
There is no doubt that I did not apply the same level of criticism towards my Christian beliefs as I did towards my Muslim faith. There are lots of reasons for this and I will forever regret that I did not do this. But I was young, naive, and taken advantage of. My soul was empty, Christian's saw it and filled the emptiness with a Bible and full throttle indoctrination. 15-17 was way to young for me to be doing the things I was doing and saying the things I was saying I forever regret them, but I also attribute this to a lack of direct parental involvement in my life. I wish I could figure out a way to best express what happened to me and what motivated my decisions and the statements I made during this time, but I'm still not sure how to go about it with a heart that is not filled with bitterness and anger towards those who I feel took advantage of my youth and my muslim background. One day I will share more

Muslim Imam on Beheading of Journalist, Steven Sotloff (Imam Suhaib Webb)
I denounce the brutal murder of Steven Sotloff and Syrian Muslim journalist Bassam Raies two weeks ago at the hands of ISIS. My sincerest condolences to both of their families. There is no dilemma in denouncing ISIS. They are, as the Prophet (sa) said, "The worst of creation" and "The dogs of Hell."
As a journalist, he is protected by international law and covenants that are binding on those God has given authority. His mother's passionate please showed that she understands Islam better than ISIS and its leadership and many rabid folks who cloak their sicknesses with the garments of religiosity.
Here are a few narrations about this from our beloved Prophet (sa). Thanks to Shibli Zaman for sharing.
There will be terror on the Day of Judgment for those Muslims who would terrorize, rather than protect, the Jews and Christians under their jurisdiction. The Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said:
«أَلَا مَنْ ظَلَمَ مُعَاهِدًا، أَوِ انْتَقَصَهُ، أَوْ كَلَّفَهُ فَوْقَ طَاقَتِهِ، أَوْ أَخَذَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا بِغَيْرِ طِيبِ نَفْسٍ، فَأَنَا حَجِيجُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
“Any who shall be unjust with those non-Muslims under covenant, or violate their rights, or tax them more than they can afford, or take from them without their consent, I will be his prosecutor on the Day of Judgment!” [Abū Dawūd’s Sunan, Translation based upon al- Ābādī’s exegesis `Awn al-Ma`būd]
The narration as related in al-Bayhaqī’s Sunan al-Kubrā adds:
«وَأَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ: أَلَا وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا لَهُ ذِمَّةُ اللهِ وَذِمَّةُ رَسُولِهِ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ , وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَتُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»
“And the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed his finger to his chest and continued: ‘And whosoever shall kill a non-Muslim under covenant —for whom there is, indeed, God’s protection and the protection of His Messenger — for such a one, God shall forbid even the scent of Paradise. Verily, they will find themselves a distance of seventy years march from even the scent of Paradise!”
Admissibility of the narration:
The Hadīth should be relied upon as an evidence for what misfortune awaits those who would be unjust or kill the protected People of the Book. There are some questions regarding some of the narrators in the chain of transmission of this Hadīth who are considered Majhūl (unknown). Nāsir al-Dīn al-Albānī authenticated it due to its numerous supporting chains of transmission (shawāhid) and as a result considered it “Sahīh li-ghayrihī” (authentic based upon supporting narrations). Similarly, Muhammad bin `Abdillāh al-Zarkashī in his al-Lālī’ al-Manthūra fi-l Ahādīth al-Mashhūra dismissed concerns over the unnamed references in the chains of transmission. `Abdul Muhsin al-`Abbād in his commentary of Abū Dawūd’s Sunan, though believing the narration to be weak in transmission, considered it reliable in its message and meaning (“Sahīh” in its “Ma`na”). It is a rare case where a Hadīth with unknown narrators is accepted by prominent scholars of Hadīth.
And God is the Omniscient, the Wise.

The Minor Signs and Our Current Reality - Dr. Uthman Lateef
About the talk -
The signs and portents of the Day of Resurrection are the things that will happen before the Resurrection takes place and will indicate that it is close at hand. They have been divided into lesser and greater signs. The lesser signs, for the most part, will occur a long time before the Resurrection begins. Some of them have happened and ended -- although they may be repeated -- and some of them have appeared and are ongoing, and some have not yet happened, but they will happen as the truthful one (the Prophet) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has told us.
The major signs are serious matters, the appearance of which will indicate that the Day of Resurrection is at hand and that there is only a short time until that great Day comes.
The lesser signs of the Hour are many, and are mentioned in many saheeh ahaadeeth. We will list them together without quoting the ahaadeeth, because there is not enough room to do so here. We will provide references to trustworthy books on the topic for those who wish to know more about this matter and the evidence for these signs. These include al-Qiyaamah al-Sughra by Shaykh 'Umar Sulaymaan al-Ashqar [this book is available in English translation under the title The Minor Resurrection, published by International Islamic Publishing House, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia] and Ashraat al-Saa'ah by Shaykh Yoosuf al-Waabil.
The lesser signs of the Hour include the following:
1. The sending of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
2. The death of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
3. The conquest of Jerusalem.
4. The plague of Amwaas (Emmaus), which is a city in Palestine.
5. Widespread wealth and lack of need for charity.
6. The appearance of fitan (tribulations). Among the tribulations that occurred in the early years of Islam were: the killing of 'Uthmaan (may Allaah be pleased with him), the battle of the camel and the battle of Siffeen, the emergence of the Khawaarij, the battle of al-Harrah, and the opinion that the Qur'aan is a creation.
7. The emergence of claimants to Prophethood, such as the liar Musaylimah and al-Aswad al-'Anasi.
8. The appearance of fire in the Hijaaz, which appeared in the middle of the 7th century AH, in 654 AH. This was a great fire, which the scholars who were alive at the time of its appearance and those who came after them described in great detail. Al-Nawawi said: There appeared in our time a fire in Madeenah, in the year six hundred and fifty-four. It was a very great fire on the eastern side of Madeenah, beyond the Harrah, and knowledge of it was widespread throughout Syria and all lands. Those of the people of Madeenah who were present told me about it.
9. Loss of trust. One of the manifestations of loss of trust is people's affairs being entrusted to those who are not qualified or able for that.
10. The taking away of knowledge and the prevalence of ignorance; the taking away of knowledge will occur with the disappearance of the scholars, as it says in al-Saheehayn.
11. The spread of zina (adultery, fornication)
12. The spread of riba (usury, interest)
13. The prevalence of musical instruments.
14. Widespread drinking of alcohol.
15. Shepherds competing in the construction of tall buildings.
16. A slave woman giving birth to her mistress, as is stated in al-Saheehayn. There are several views among the scholars as to what this means. The view favoured by Ibn Hajar is that there will be widespread disobedience among children, so that a child will treat his mother as a master treats his slave woman, with negligence and insults.
17. Widespread killing.
18. Widespread earthquakes.
19. Appearance of landslides, transformations and stones from heaven.
20. Appearance of women who are clothed yet naked.
21. Believer's dreams coming true.
22. Widespread giving of false testimony and concealment of true testimony.
23. Large numbers of women.
24. The land of the Arabs becoming once again meadows and rivers.
25. The Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold.
26. Wild animals and inanimate objects will speak to people.
27. The "Romans" will increase in number and fight the Muslims.
28. The conquest of Constantinople.

Muslim Response to Yezidi (Yazidi) Girls Rape by ISIS Report
If the report of Yezidi girls being raped by ISIS fighters is true, all Muslims must condemn this action as rape is not allowed in Islam:
Muslim scholar, Suhaib Webb, Rape is a 'sin' and 'crime'
Muslim scholar, Hamza Yusuf, Rape is oppression and unjust

The Yazidi people must be treated with justice, everybody should be treated with justice according to Islam. One cannot oppress a group of people be they Muslim or non-Muslim. People should write to the Saudi and Qatari embassies to get the message out in order to protect the Yezidi people from injustice.
Sadly, hateful people will use these reports to bash Muslims and Islam. People should not pay any heed to these agenda-driven people who hate Muslims and Islam - they are propagandists who don't care about the suffering of the Yazidi people but care about their agenda to hate-monger against Muslims and Islam. Be wary of them and do not be moved by their propaganda and hate-rhetoric.
Those who are in charge of fighters in Iraq should educate their fighters that rape is a crime. May Allah protect the women and girls in Iraq from rape. Ameen.
Two reports about the situation of the Yezidis in Iraq:
Woman talking to Hevidar:
“Another Halabja is happening to us. We are disabled, we can’t walk anymore. No food, no water, our children have all died.”
A woman told Rudaw that three of her daughters committed suicide after they were raped by ISIS militants and were later allowed to join their family on Mount Shingal.
The mother said: My daughters were calling on people to kill them, but no one wanted to do that. So they jumped from the mountain and ended their bitter life.
The mother recounted her daughters’ story on camera, but YPG fighters on the mountain seized the Rudaw camera and erased the tape.
This woman tells the story of the Yezidi girls who committed suicide.
“They took the girls by force and raped them, and after they returned they killed themselves.”
This war has claimed everyone its victim: men, women, young and old. This man has grown old among his people, but he had never expected to see a day like this.
“In my whole life I have never seen something like this. Our world is destroyed. I can’t say anything.”
The Peshmerga have now opened a road to save the Yezidis.
“There was spot that was occupied by the ISIS. The Peshmerga came and took over it. As soon as our people saw the Peshmerga had arrived, they began descending the mountain.”
These people are running towards life, but hunger, thirst and searing heat is following them.

Yazidis tormented by fears for women and girls kidnapped by Isis jihadis
For the past week, Khandhar Kaliph's hands have trembled whenever his phone has rung.He nervously greeted his daughter, who had been kidnapped when the Islamic State (Isis) overran the Yazidi city of Sinjar. There was a minute of silence, before he broke down sobbing.
"She said she is going to be sold as a slave this afternoon, for $10," Kaliph said, his tears dropping into the brown dust. "What can a father say to that. How can I help? We all feel so useless."
Kaliph's daughter, who he did not want to name, had access to a group phone passed around between other girls imprisoned by the Islamic State in Bardoush prison in central Mosul.
All face the imminent prospect of being married off. Or worse, being used by the jihadis as a sex slave.
"The world needs to know that is where our women are, where they are being enslaved, young and old alike," he said, sitting in the dirt outside a building site near the Iraqi Kurdish city of Dohuk that he and some 70 other Yazidis are now using as shelter. [From The Guardian]

The Yazidi people must be treated with justice, everybody should be treated with justice according to Islam. One cannot oppress a group of people be they Muslim or non-Muslim. People should write to the Saudi and Qatari embassies to get the message out in order to protect the Yezidi people from injustice.
Sadly, hateful people will use these reports to bash Muslims and Islam. People should not pay any heed to these agenda-driven people who hate Muslims and Islam - they are propagandists who don't care about the suffering of the Yazidi people but care about their agenda to hate-monger against Muslims and Islam. Be wary of them and do not be moved by their propaganda and hate-rhetoric.
Those who are in charge of fighters in Iraq should educate their fighters that rape is a crime. May Allah protect the women and girls in Iraq from rape. Ameen.

“Another Halabja is happening to us. We are disabled, we can’t walk anymore. No food, no water, our children have all died.”
A woman told Rudaw that three of her daughters committed suicide after they were raped by ISIS militants and were later allowed to join their family on Mount Shingal.
The mother said: My daughters were calling on people to kill them, but no one wanted to do that. So they jumped from the mountain and ended their bitter life.
The mother recounted her daughters’ story on camera, but YPG fighters on the mountain seized the Rudaw camera and erased the tape.
This woman tells the story of the Yezidi girls who committed suicide.
“They took the girls by force and raped them, and after they returned they killed themselves.”
This war has claimed everyone its victim: men, women, young and old. This man has grown old among his people, but he had never expected to see a day like this.
“In my whole life I have never seen something like this. Our world is destroyed. I can’t say anything.”
The Peshmerga have now opened a road to save the Yezidis.
“There was spot that was occupied by the ISIS. The Peshmerga came and took over it. As soon as our people saw the Peshmerga had arrived, they began descending the mountain.”
These people are running towards life, but hunger, thirst and searing heat is following them.

Norwegian Woman Becomes Muslim

People can be transformed. The opponents of the Prophet (p) were particularly vicious against Muslims. Hind actually bit into the liver of the Prophet's uncle, Hamzah, when he was martyred at the Battle of Uhud. Priest in Gaza Supporting Palestinians
Israel is destroying many buildings, including mosques. A priest in Gaza, Emmanual Musallam is offering his church for the Muslim call to prayer. May Allah guide this priest to Islam and protect him from the Israeli bombs.

Israeli Woman v Israeli Soldier
This brave Israeli soldier protects a Palestinian boy from an Israeli soldier. This Israeli soldier should be ashamed for terrorizing this poor Palestinian child.
