Boston Terrorist Attack (Muslim Response)

The FBI is calling this a potential terrorist attack. It is a terrorist attack regardless of whether Muslims perpetrated this attack or not. Security has been stepped up in Boston, I hope there are no further attacks.

3 people are confirmed dead and more than 100 are injured – some seriously.

I hope the anti-Muslim camp on the internet do not jump to any conclusions on this one and I really hope they do not use this as another stick to beat Muslims and attempt their usual smears of the Islamic faith if this does turn out to be a politically motivated terrorist attack perpetrated by a Muslim.

I have witnessed the London marathon and know first hand that marathons are family events all about camaraderie. As a Muslim I want to condemn this act of terror and our thoughts are with the people of Boston.

Update: Barack Obama criticised for not using the word 'terrorism'

He - apparently very deliberately - did not use the word terrorism even though he has been criticised in the past for not being quick enough to use the label.

Indeed he has already been criticised for not using it now, but apparently feels caution and certainty are more important than the barbs of critics - particularly when, to many Americans, the word terrorism is misunderstood to only mean action by foreigners.

Nevertheless, a White House official was quick to stress after the statement that this was being treated as an act of terrorismhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-22162754

Not all terrorists are Muslims

On the FBI’s official website, there exists a chronological list of all terrorist attacks committed on U.S. soil from the year 1980 all the way to 2005

According to this data, there were more Jewish acts of terrorism within the United States than Islamic (7% vs 6%).

Erik Rush: Kill All Muslims in Response to Boston Marathon Attack

Earlier today, there was an apparent bombing near the finish line of the Boston Marathon that, according to preliminary reports, has left two people dead and dozens more injured.

In response, and utterly without any evidence, frequent Fox News contributor Erik Rush tweeted out a message blaming the bombing on Muslim terrorists, saying "Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grab! Let's bring more Saudis in without screening them! C'mon! #bostonmarathon."

That prompted another Twitter user to chastize Rush for making such unsupported accusations, which prompted Rush to respond with a call for all Muslims to be killed

Denunciation of the Boston Terrorist Attack
By His Eminence Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi

As Muslim leaders representing Islam and Muslims worldwide, it is our duty to speak up and denounce terrorism and terrorist actions regardless of who is behind them. However, it becomes more incumbent upon us to do so when it is done in the name of Islam.

We strongly condemn the most recent terrorist attack in Boston, USA, and offer our sympathy to the victims. These types of attacks are but signs of cowardice and self-defeat.

Our goal as Muslims is to improve the image of Islam and establish a better understanding of our religion, culture, and history. Unfortunately, this attack, if it turns out that Muslims are behind it, will definitely be detrimental to this lofty goal.

Islam brings about mercy not cruelty, and spreads love not hatred. According to our Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a true believer is "He who does not harm anyone, neither with his tongue, nor with his hand."

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organisation, also condemned the bomb attacks.

"American Muslims, like Americans of all backgrounds, condemn in the strongest possible terms today's cowardly bomb attack on participants and spectators of the Boston Marathon," said its national executive director Nihad Awad.

The Pakistani Taliban, which has threatened attacks in the United States because of its support for the Pakistani government, denied any role in the marathon bombings Tuesday.

The group's spokesman, Ahsanullah Ahsan, denied involvement in a telephone call with The Associated Press. He spoke from an undisclosed location.

Federal investigators said Monday no one had claimed responsibility for the devastating attack on one of the city's most famous civic holidays, Patriots' Day.

Investigators don't know who was behind the attack, or whether it was spawned domestically or from afar. But federal authorities are classifying it as an act of terrorism.

Federal and local investigators -- including bomb technicians -- searched an apartment in nearby Revere, the city's fire department posted on Facebook early Tuesday.

The search is linked to a young Saudi Arabian man in the United States on a student visa, the law enforcement source who spoke to CNN on Tuesday said.

Nothing was found at the apartment linking the man to the bombings, the source said, cautioning not to read too much into the search as investigators will be talking to numerous people.

The search took place by consent, according to another federal law enforcement source, meaning no search warrant was needed.

A federal law enforcement official said both bombs were small, and initial tests showed no C-4 or other high-grade explosive, suggesting that the packages used in the attack were crude.

Who Did This? Boston Bombing Questions Remain

Monday night during his BlazeTV show, Glenn Beck offered his thoughts on the Boston Marathon bombings and who might have been responsible. He rejected the notion suggested by some that the attack was perpetrated by an American citizen “all hacked off at the government.” Instead, he suggested that “Middle Eastern” terrorists had to be behind the attack because “when our crazies go off, they target the government.”

“No American citizen blows up random people,” Beck asserted, “that’s a Middle Eastern scene.” He went on to express his wariness of the Obama administration in the wake of the attack, alluding to the “workplace shooting” designation that was given to the 2009 Fort Hood rampage

Yahya tell the truth. Are you surprised to find out the bombers are in fact Muslims?

WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS & VIDEOS OF:

1- The backpacks being dropped on the ground and left by the alleged terrorists?

2- The alleged terrorists putting a high speed chase with the police at night?

3- The video of the fighting that took place between the police and them, which resulted in the killing of one of the alleged terrorists and a police officer?

WHY CAN'T THESE BE CIA ZIONIST AGENTS? The former Sovient Union's States are infested with Jews. This is Borat's and Kim Kardashian's neck of the woods. Lots of zionist and mossad agents there. This thing smells like turd! At least show us the evidence.

All we have right now are empty allegations. I will be THE FIRST to condemn this cowardly act even if they were Muslims. But don't glue it to Islam when you have no evidence. 9/11 was a complete zionist and mossad operation.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT WORTH NOTICING HERE:

How come all of the sudden we have ample terrorism in the USA all in one year? Sounds too fishy to me. Could it be a government plot to something much bigger?
