You know, this type of attitude is common in the West. In my dawah activities I’ve come across people who genuinely object to Islam because they want to continue with their current lifestyle. In Britain we have a huge pub culture and there are people who object to not being able to drink alcohol. I used to tackle this issue by going down the health route but Nouman Ali Khan has given a response which cuts through the standard approach and invites you to the Lord in a beautiful fashion.
If you are not a Muslim PLEASE listen to this and think seriously about Islam
Brilliant response by Nouman Ali Khan to non-muslims
God being The Self-Sufficient is not in need of any of us. Rather, we are in need him as we are the created and he is The Creator. If this point is instilled in the mind of an individual he/she finds a unique determination. There is more to life than just drinking, partying, and intimacy.
In this episode of TheDeenshow the questioner wants to know why they can't have sex when they want to, with whomever they want, and then be able to party and drink and follow their own way of life without obeying God, and then after they die they still be able to go to heaven. This question makes for a great topic, enjoy this week's show.

Yahya You have really out done yourself with this one. You never seem to disappoint. Then again when you hold another person to absolutly no STANDARDS its easy not to be dispointed.
Your title ""Muslim Response to : I want to have sex, drink, party, die and still go to Heaven!"
Can you point to ONE CHRISTIAN who has ever said this? Can you point to a verse in the bible that says YOU CAN DO THIS?
You said... "You know, this type of attitude is common in the West. In my dawah activities I’ve come across people who genuinely object to Islam because they want to continue with their current lifestyle."
Oh please tell me one Christian that you have encountered that has this ATTITUDE, that you can have pre marital sex, go to drunken parties etc... and still go to heaven? If you do I will rebuke them with the following scripture.
"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." Gal 5:13-15
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." (Gal 5:16-18)
"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal 5:19-21)
@Yahya Snow
Here is more scripture to rebuke these "Christians you encounter in your DAWHA activities.
" But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."(Eph 5:3-5)
More in the same chapter of EPH
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light."
And now to 1 cor
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[c] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people." 1 Cor 5:9-11)
@Yahya Snow
Here is even more scripture to rebuke those phantom Christians you enounter in your DAHWA efforts.
"Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Cor 6:9-11)
"The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[b] 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[c]
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
@Anonymous,
Please hold your horses and read the intro again.
I stated I live in Britain. Britain is full of secularists and we have a pub culture here, thus in my dawah activities in Britain I have encountered this type of attitude.
I never claimed this attitude came from Christians. However, Christians DO drink alcohol and join in with the pub culture. Perhaps you would like to quote Galatians to them.
Britain and the West is NOT a Christian entity. Pre-enlightenment it was BUT it is different now.
Please do apologise for your outburst.
I assume you are American, I'm pretty sure there is a lot of premarital sex and alcohol consumption going on over there too.
I would not be surprised if american Muslims experience such attitudes whilst doing Dawah.
Please differentiate the West and Christianity, Cristianity is very much an after thought in Britain. I assume the same is happening in America.
I find it interesting to see you have no outburst with regards to the Christian answer top this problem:
This problem:
http://thefactsaboutislam.blogspot.com/2011/02/christians-reject-holy-spirit.html
My advice to anonymous and Mr Radical Moderate is for them to read the posts carefully. Read your Bible's carefully too - God willing, you will realise Jesus is not God.
You have already seen the Holy Spirit is not God so you are getting close to pure monotheism - God willing
Iron Sharpens iron as one man sharpens another - Proverbs
@Yahya Snow
And still more....
From Colossians 3
"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.[b] 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."
"12.Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
I could continue with even more but I think I made my point.
NOW I CALL YOU TO REPENT, AND TAKE DOWN THIS SLANDEROUS POST AND APOLOGIES TO CHRISTIANS FOR POSTING SUCH FOOLISHNESS
@Yahya Snow
you said...
"I stated I live in Britain. Britain is full of secularists and we have a pub culture here, thus in my dawah activities in Britain I have encountered this type of attitude."
Sir since most Muslims including some on this blog associate anything with the west with being Christians. And since the main purpose of this blog is to attack Christians, and since you did not clarify that you were not speaking to Christians but to some other group that wants to go to heaven. Then the meaning of your post is clear.
So then at the very least sir edit your post to say "That Christians do not practice this or have this attitude because the CHRISTIAN BIBLE TEACHES AGAINST SUCH PRACTICES AND BELIEFS"
Either way now you have real scripture to rebuke those that believe such foolishness.
To the Radical Moderate:
The part where it says :
"11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God"
That will tilt the balance between living a Holy life and living a sinful life.
Imagine if the US govn say: All you sins are forgiven, and paid for, all the robberies the killings will not be punishement, But please be a good citizen. What would you expect to happen?
1moreMuslim that is a foolish argument. The only way you can come up with that is if you ignore everything else that was posted.
Because you are washed and sanctified in the blood you are no longer to continue in this way. That is how you were before, not how you are to be now. If you continue in this way you will go to hell.
Christian Politician Shahbaz Bhatti Assassinated by Muslims in Pakistan
PAKISTAN--As many as four men ambushed Shahbaz Bhatti, 42, yesterday as he left home without a security escort, Geo television reported, citing a police official, Bin Yamin. Bhatti was dead when brought to the city's Al-Shifa Hospital, the institution's spokesman, Azmatullah Quraishi, said by telephone.
Bhatti, a Roman Catholic and former leader of Pakistan's main minority-rights group, was killed eight weeks after Salman Taseer, governor of Pakistan's Punjab province, was shot to death by one of his bodyguards. Both men had called publicly for changes to the country's blasphemy law, which prescribes the death penalty for anyone convicted of insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
Bhatti's assassination is likely to deepen fears of even talking about the blasphemy law, said S.K. Tessler, a Christian retired army colonel who served as minority affairs minister under the military regime of former president Pervez Musharraf.

All MUSLIMS SAY ALLAH AKBAR
Have Christians openly condemned sex, partying, alcohol etc??
Christianity represents 80% of the Western world. And of course there's the trusty old holy spirit that's with all Christians.
Instead of attacking Muslims, I suggest Christians preach against what our society expects (i.e adultering, partying)
Most Church-going Christians I know are often involved in these types of activities. Hell my former Pastor took parishioners to bars.
You know I find it so funny, Christianity commands alcohol but forbids drunkeness? It's like saying smoke but don't get addicted or else you're a sinner
Hey anonymous from Answering Muslims a Christian terrorist from a Christian terror group in Spain was arrested for killing a cop by car bombing.
Just yesterday a Pastor was arrested for masturbating infront of little girls.
It's all the holy spirit.
Womanof... Said
"Have Christians openly condemned sex, partying, alcohol etc??"
Couple of things by Sex we mean pre or extra marital sex with that said...
Did you read the verses I posted? Can you show me in any of those verses were sexual immorality is condoned? Did you not get that those verses and more CONDEMN SUCH BEHAVIOR? Or that just went over your head. Can you show me any verse in the bible that Commands, or Condones Sexual immorality?
"Christianity represents 80% of the Western world. And of course there's the trusty old holy spirit that's with all Christians."
Thank you for proving my point that this post was a attack on Christianity. I see your also still attacking the Holy Spirit.
You also said...
"Instead of attacking Muslims, I suggest Christians preach against what our society expects (i.e adultering, partying)"
When have Christians not preached against our society and the world. You do realize that it is Christians who are targeted in the court. Just recently a Judge in the UK ruled that Christian Foster Parents could not teach there Foster Children that Homosexualality is wrong.. It is Christians who are outside of Abortion Clinics etc...
You also said...
"Most Church-going Christians I know are often involved in these types of activities. Hell my former Pastor took parishioners to bars."
Really? Most? well maybe you can share that real scripture I shared with the room on how a Christian should be behaving.
You also said...
"You know I find it so funny, Christianity commands alcohol but forbids drunkeness?"
Really? Can you show me where we as Christians are commanded to drink alcohol? I would like to see that verse. And yes we are not to get drunk or associate with drunkards. If you don't know the difference then I can only assume you have some kind of substance abuse problem.
You also said...
"It's like saying smoke but don't get addicted or else you're a sinner"
That is just to stupid for comment.
Hey anonymous from Answering Muslims a Christian terrorist from a Christian terror group in Spain was arrested for killing a cop by car bombing.

Still attacking the holy spirit I see. You really hate him don't you.
yahya we should pray for Muslims as well as they are often caught up in this western behavior.
giving dawah to non-practcing muslims is tough. there's way to many in my community and I don't think my community is any different than another city's muslim population.
its hard to cope with muslims who act christian. but i pray and thats all i can do.
so my question to christians is what does this have to do with christiniaty? yahya is just speaking of those who are forgetful of God. why are christians claiming they're the problem? we didn't have to say anything and there already up in arms.
@Ali

Well lets see why would we think that this article is about Christians.
First the blog it self. The majority of the posts on this site are about Christians, in the Blog owners own words he has said "The purpose of his Ministry is to expose Christian Missionaries"
Then there is the comments by Muslims, lets take a look at just a few on this post.
First there is WomanOf...
"Christianity represents 80% of the Western world. And of course there's the trusty old holy spirit that's with all Christians."
Then of course there is your statement. "its hard to cope with muslims who act christian. but i pray and thats all i can do."
Yahya Snow intent was clear, this post was a obvious slanderous attack against God and His people.
Its sad really, really sad.
I have noticed, that none of you with the exception of 1moremuslim has been able to deal with the texts I posted. Not a single one. Just empty baseless accusations.
To Radical Moderate:
I didn't say that your passages doesn't exist, The Bible is full of prohibitions. But the verse that says you Immoralities are paid fully by the cross, That have inevitably bad consequences on how Christians would behave. I give you the analogy, but you ignored it. In practice, through history, Christians took that Doctrine as an excuse for immorality, and still doing today. When you remove deterrence by punishment, people will have tendency to sin, EVEN if they are TOLD to be good in many places in the NT.
You should make the difference between what Paul commands, and what are the practical consequences of his doctrine. Paul himself was rebuking Christians for making more sins so that they receive more grace.
1moreMuslim
Thank you again for demonstrating a total lack of reading comprehension skills that is common in all Muslims.
You said...
" But the verse that says you Immoralities are paid fully by the cross"
First can you show me that verse? I want to make sure you are capable of some level of reading comprehension.
So let me get your understanding correct. You understand all these verses and passages that deal with the saving grace of Christ, that if you repent of your sins, and rely on Christ for your salvation, that you can continue to sin?
For instance Christians can or still continue to act in the ways of the flesh and be saved? The ways of the flesh being "sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like."
Is this your understanding of all the verses I posted?
@1moreMuslims
You said "When you remove deterrence by punishment, people will have tendency to sin, EVEN if they are TOLD to be good in many places in the NT"
The deterrence of punishment? So eternal damnation is not a punishment?
Secondly Iran, and KSA have some of the most barbairc laws and punishments taken directly from your Allah. But guess what people still sin in KSA, and Iran. People still drink, have sexual imoral relationships, they continue to do drugs, Iran for instance has a serious Heroin problem.
1MoreMuslim
You do realize that Islam teaches that as long as you say La Illa La etc... sincerely once in your life you will go to Jenna eventually. (As long as you don't die in a state of shirk)
Also I can make the argument that you have a good chance in Islam of being totally forgiven by just going to the bathroom.
radcal moderate is right about drugs, alcohol and adultery in saudi and iran. thanks for proving sharia doesn't exist there.
on a side note, didn't jesus drink and turn water to wine?
Ali said...
"radcal moderate is right about drugs, alcohol and adultery in saudi and iran. thanks for proving sharia doesn't exist there. "
So how much more Islamic do they have to get when it comes to the laws against alcohol and drugs and sexual immorality?
radical moderate you proved to us those countries don't use sharia. and we can safely say this for ALL muslim countries.
if they want to come to islam they have to adopt compassion, mercy and all Islamic values.
this makes me wonder, all of those muslims who want to impose sharia law in the west, will it only add to the drinking, sex etc???
"Secondly Iran, and KSA have some of the most barbairc laws and punishments taken directly from your Allah"
The Law of Moses was barbaric !!
I have no interest in discussing with a Christian who blasphemes his own God. Discussion over.
1moremuslim. DING DING DING, and he throws in the towel LOL.
Ali again what can they do to make the laws they have on adultery fornication, drinking and drugs to be more Islamic. They clearly are enforcing these laws, so it must be something in the law itself. So what are they doing un Islamic when it comes to these laws.
nishtyag, all properly written. Well done!
@Radical Moderate
Please try to remain objective and free from emotions. I understand some of the recent posts have shown the Holy Spirit not to be God using Christian apologists BUT to shoot the messenger and tag me as an attacker of "Christians" is somewhat disingenuous - regardless of the fact your faith has been challenged.
The video does not mention Christians, I in my description did not mention Christians yet you for some reason want to develop a straw man argument and attack it. Perhaps this attitude of yours is designed to circumnavigate the posts which do show the Trinity to be untrue.
I repeat, this has NOTHING to do with Christianity.
I agree with brother Ali in that MUSLIMS also drink and involve themsleves in other nonislamic actions - so this video could also benefit Muslims who are leading unislamic lifestyles
My advice to Radical Moderate, PLEASE concentrate on the bigger picture and focus on the material showing you the Holy Spirit is not God:
http://thefactsaboutislam.blogspot.com/search/label/Holy%20Spirit
Radical Moderate,
Christianity is the root of the problems face by Western societies. Your religion teaches secularism, or atleast one part does, where Caeser was given the State to govern. And secularism means freedom from everything. Sex, drugs and alcohol COMES FROM THIS. Your religion places no rules, boundries or restrictions.
In conclsion, yes the West is formed upon Christianity. And all of societies ill's are due to the infinite freedom forced at us.
Have a look at all Western secualt nations Radical. Christianity is the far the largest faiths and Christian values can be found everywhere. All of these places have one thing in common: freedom
And what that? That's teen pregnancy, alcohol, rape, murder, drugs etc
How much more evidence do you require?
The news suspended forks on their way to mouths, and sent supermarkets rushing to pull goods from shelves. Last month, the website DÉbat Halal claimed it had evidence that a popular brand of halal-certified poultry sausages marketed in France by a giant international food producer actually contain pork, rendering them forbidden - or haram - to Muslims. The accusation led many French Muslims to question how they can be sure that any of the halal food they buy meets certification standards - only to discover that no single set of standards exists for determining which products are halal and which aren't. Now, some observers are hoping that the haram hubbub may finally push France's Muslim leaders to agree upon a united code for the halal food sector - one of the biggest-booming niche markets in the nation.
The stir began when DÉbat Halal published a Jan. 16 report saying that tests had detected pork - a substance forbidden under both halal and kosher rules - within halal-branded poultry sausages produced by Herta, a unit of global food giant NestlÉ. Counter-tests revealed by Herta a week later found no traces of pork in their Knacki Halal poultry sausages. Nevertheless, on Feb. 1, one of France's largest supermarket chains, Casino, removed the sausages from its stores to run its own test to "guarantee the strictest respect of halal certification." Still, the entire episode led Muslim consumers to wonder about the reliability of all the halal food they buy. (See pictures of food eaten around the world.)
And for good reason. The flap over Herta's poultry sausages is only the latest controversy involving halal-certified food in France. In recent months, revelations of mechanized slaughtering by some industrial poultry Producers - rather than the manual culling and bleeding halal requires - have led some experts to estimate that up to 90% of poultry products labeled as halal in France don't meet even the most basic, generally recognized standards. While trying to find out exactly what the national norms are for halal certification, French Muslims have found there is no unified set of criteria or inspection procedures to verify a product as being halal. Instead, food companies work along differing standards overseen by rival factions of France's Islamic community. For Muslim consumers paying a premium to make sure that what they're eating is compatible with their religious Beliefs, it's an upsetting revelation.
. Recently, Muslim shoppers also find they have a wider choice of diverse, innovative and more convenient, ready-to-eat goods than they've been used to - most of them produced by multinational groups like NestlÉ, Panzani, Fleury Michon, and Unilever.
Lacking an international structure like the Catholic Church to replicate at the national level, French Muslims remained largely unorganized until 2003, when government authorities helped found the French Council of the Muslim Faith as the representative of France's "official Islam."
Increasing Number of French Muslim Girls Attend Private Schools
See full-text article(s):Islam in Europe Global Post News Agencies - June 17, 2010
This article profiles Reussite, one of the first Muslim private schools in France. Several associations and activities are grouped under the umbrella of Reussite, which means “success.” The school first opened in 2001 in the densely populated suburb of Aubervilliers, northeast of Paris. Initially the school had a handful of middle school students, but today 138 pupils in junior and senior high school study there. Many girls come specifically because of problems they’ve had in public schools related to the veil ban, said Belkhier Okachi, the school’s treasurer.
The school has become a victim of its own success and regularly turns away students in order to keep class sizes small — the average is 24 — so students can benefit from individual attention from teachers.
Recognized by the state, the school follows the same national curriculum as its public school counterparts with some notable differences. Students are required to take Arabic language classes as well as one hour of religion per week. Although the midday prayer is not a requirement, most students participate in the 15-minute exercise.
The school’s enrollment is almost equally split between girls and boys, although it enrolls slightly more girls because they have a harder time in public schools. For funding, Reussite relies largely on the 2,500 euro annual tuition per student as well as donations from local businesses and private sources. Nevertheless, the school is facing grave financial difficulties.
