Endangering Kamal Saleem’s life?
I have no issue with Kamal Saleem using a pseudonym but when he is presenting an obviously fanciful story in milking gullible Christians (for cash) whilst coyly concealing details which would pinpoint him as a fraud, then good folk need to speak out.
I received an email from a person purporting to be Kamal Saleem’s nephew. Obviously, the claims within the email cannot be verified but making it public consumption could benefit folk who are investigating Mr Saleem. For what it’s worth here is the email concerning Kamal Saleem’s identity and past:
Dear Yahya
Kamal Saleem real name is Khodor Kamal Saleem Al Shami and he is my
uncle.Kamal his father and Saleem is his grand father. My mom is the
older sister to Khodor " Kamal Saleem" . All of his story is a complete
fake.
If you need to know anything about him please feel free to contact me.
Best Regards

Substance to the email
In checking this out I noticed Reza Aslan and Doug Howard lend support to the above email.
Reza Aslan has a similar name for Kamal Saleem: Kamal Saleem, whose real name is Khodor Shami, worked for Pat Robertson’s Christian Broadcasting Network for sixteen years, and was hired by Focus on the Family in 2003. In 2006, he launched Koome Ministries, whose mission is to “expose the true agenda of [Muslims] who would deceive our nation and the free nations of the world... Christians don’t believe Kamal Saleem’s Conversion story
I will tell you Kamal Saleem has THREE DIFFERENT conversion stories. However, Christians have found his conversion story to be implausible for other reasons – one of which being Mr. Saleem’s concealing of details and names of folk/places involved:
Their concerns had to do not with his fabricated terrorist past but with his implausible conversion story. The physician treating Kamal Saleem took him into his own home because his medical bills were excessive and he had no health insurance? Then why the reluctance to identify the doctor, or the city and hospital where it happened? Calling a Fraud a Fraud
Doug Howard writes: Describing the controversy surrounding his 2008 appearance at the Air Force Academy, he writes that “a college professor specifically called me a ‘fraud.’ ” I was that college professor, and having now read his book, I see no reason to withdraw the assessment. I want to know why a person who so vividly recalls maneuvers carried out when he was seven years old has such vague memories of his twenties. ‘Holy Spirit inspired Christians’
How is it all these ‘Holy Spirit inspired Christians’ are unable to see Kamal Saleem as the fraud he clearly is? I shall tell you this murky saga does not bode well in Christian attempts to convince non-christians of Pauline Christianity. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot whilst emptying your wallets to an obvious con man!

UP to 70 convicted terrorists due to be released this year will not be properly monitored, a probation chief warned yesterday.
The "high risk" extremists, some of them bomb makers, could be walking the streets after being freed on licence.
But Harry Fletcher, assistant general secretary of the National Association of Probation Officers, said cuts to services meant adequate checks could not be kept on them.
He added: "They have to be supervised by us and the police at a fairly intensive level.
"My fear is as cuts go deeper we're going to be unable to give them the close attention that we have hitherto. These men require maximum supervision and we're not going to be able to do it."
Among those set for release are Saajit Badat, jailed for 13 years in 2005 for plotting with shoe bomber Richard Reid. Also due to walk free is Moinul Abedin, jailed for 20 years in 2002 for making bomb detonators.
MPs said Government plans to water down control orders that allow dangerous individuals to be put under virtual house arrest will make the problem even worse.
Labour home affairs spokesman Gerry Sutcliffe said: "I think there is a danger that the security services are going to be overstretched.
"I would urge ministers to keep control orders in place until there is a better alternative."
Tory MP Patrick Mercer said: "The system needs a radical overhaul to protect the public."
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) — Two people were stabbed in a seemingly random attack at a Twin Cities library.
After the incident Wednesday night at the Oxboro Library in Bloomington, 35-year-old Samira Abdalla Salim was arrested.
Salim was no stranger to the Oxboro Library. She had a reputation for handing out the Koran and talking religion outside the building.
“They had some issues with her harassing other patrons,” said Bloomington Police Commander Mark Stehlik.
But it’s what investigators say she did on Wednesday night that surprised everyone.
“I never thought she would do that. She was very nice,” said Anisa Ahmed, Salim’s neighbor.
Salim is accused of stabbing two people. The first victim was a woman who was walking into the library.
“The next thing she knew, she felt a sharp pain in the middle of her back and realized she had been stabbed,” said Stehlik.
The second was a security guard who heard the victim’s cry for help. He went to talk to Salim in the parking lot.
“Spoke to her briefly and then she actually stabbed him as well. Stabbed him in the abdomen,” said Stehlik.
Because Salim lived next door to the library, witnesses identified her right away and she was arrested in minutes.
“Nobody was worried about her committing a violent act,” said Stehlik.
Fourteen-year-old Ahmed lives next door to Salim and only knows a friendly lady whose kids were friends with her sisters.
“She’d greet us every morning … and she’d get to know us,” said Ahmed.
Now the question everyone wants answered is why a woman who was not seen as a threat suddenly became violent.
“It’s unusual. Somebody minding their own business, walking into library, it doesn’t happen too often where they become victim of assault like this,” said Stehlik.
The victims had minor injuries. Police say they weren’t stabbed with a knife but a sharp, pointy object. (Source)
let me guess, david wood? if only he didn't block muslims.....
So what? I want to share this post on Facebook, I am under name John McCain there.
Saleem claims to be from a Lebanese Sunni Muslim family, which is a descendant of the “Grand Wazir of Islam,” and that he was a terrorist with the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).Furthermore, Saleem states that his terrorism affiliation with the PLO inspired by Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood ended after receiving the “Holy Ghost” and accepting Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him) in his life. Saleem’s story like his other wannabe “ex-terrorist” comrades, however, just does not add up.
For starters as author Chris Hedges points out, there is no such title as the “Grand Wazir of Islam.”Saleem’s “Grand Wazir” lineage claim is also bizarre due to the fact that the adjective “grand” would not be used in front of the term wazir (advisor) to begin with. Even the title “Grand Wazir” was not bestowed upon Aaron (Peace Be Upon Him), who was a prophet and the wazir of Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) according to the Qur’an!
It’s also very interesting that Saleem claims to have been a terrorist inspired by Islam as a member of the secular, Marxist influenced PLO, whose long time executive committee member and long time spokeswoman, Hanan Ashrawi, was a Christian. Saleem wants us to believe that Ashrawi, George Habash and the countless others from Christian backgrounds in the secular PLO were also inspired by Islam as he claims was his “terrorist” motive in dealing with the pesky problem of illegal Israeli occupation.
Furthermore the Muslim Brotherhood, who Saleem claims he had dual affiliation with, was averse to the secular, Marxist leaning PLO during the time that he claimed to have been a member. In fact, it is also well known that the Muslim Brotherhood inspired Hamas was supported by Israel to be an “Islamist” counter to the secular PLO/Fatah. To this day, Hamas and the PLO have been at odds with each other to the point of killing each other in the streets of Palestine in recent years. Hence, Saleem’s claim of being an “Islamist” terrorist in the PLO while having felicity to the Muslim Brotherhood is utterly preposterous.
The reality is that Saleem has made a nice career for himself collecting honorariums, writing a book and getting exposure from the hyper-Islamophobic Aramaic Broadcasting Network (ABN) since the tragedy of 9/11. If he were indeed an “ex-terrorist,” I’m sure that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would have deported him by now for fraud because people with terrorism ties cannot get entry visas much less obtain American citizenship. And the FBI does not simply let “ex-terrorists” walk the streets because they claim to have received the “Holy Ghost” without detaining them for questioning. Changing idelogies does not absolve persons under American law from terrorism ties that they admit to.
The unfortunate part about Saleem’s bogus career is not his snake oil peddling but that there are so many individuals who do not care about the truth and lack intellectual honest that provide him a platform.
Br. Snow,
You missed all the drama that unfolded during the Atheist Convention in Ireland. Br. Hamza Andreas Tzortzis went to do Da'wah but faced a number of hard hearted individuals that kept calling him bad words. Check my twitter page and you'll see what I mean. You missed a lot, but I twitted Hamza and he said he'll have a video of everything that went on. Just thought I'd let you know. Man, coming back to this blog and seeing the sort of arguments Christians have....I can tell you it is nothing compared to what went on with the Atheists at the convection. I feel really bad for Christians.
Salams refutingacts17
why do you feel sorry for the christians. don't get me wrong i feel quite sorry for them too seeing as they seem to get so much flak and hatred in their 'own countries'. But what in particular happened at the atheist convention that makes you feel sorry for the christians? weren't they arguing with muslims?
Sorry if i'm preempting the video that's coming out but i just thought your comment was intriguing.
jazakAllah.
lolli
I feel sorry for them because they follow a religion that's chalk-full of problems and still are out doing their duty in spreading the faith. It's so sad.
Anyways, to Br. Snow:
Br. Snow,
As I elaborated on your blog, Br. Hamza Tzortzis went to Ireland to do Dawah at the Athiest Convention. In summary, things did not go well, but Hamza was expecting this. PZ Meyrs, a biologist famed for his indignant commentary on religion spewed hate at both Hamza, myself, and Islam on twitter. Furthermore a man by the name Alan Mairson, who appears to be an atheist himself, stumbled upon PZ Meyrs tweets and decided to blog them. It turns out Alan has been an employee for National Geographic for over 20+ years, while PZ Meyrs seems to be a recent addition to the staff. Alan also discovered that PZ Meyrs made some distasteful comments about Muslims and Islam on his blog. Get this: that blog he uses is OWNED by National Geographic. Take note of the expletives when you read over his blog, but NatGeo is oblivious to what he says there. I don't have a blog so I'm going to make a video about this quite soon which I may ask you to propagate. You have to, HAVE TO, make a blog entry about this fowl episode. You must also make it a point that Muslims should contact NatGeo or at least protest what one of their employee is saying about Muslims. In fact - this is something no company would want their employ to be doing on THEIR PROPERTY. Take your time and read through the tweets carefully including Alan and Meyrs' blog. You might also want to see what Hamza tweeted. Let me know what you think. Hope all is well on your side brother.
Please don't miss this opportunity brother.
