There are some news reports circulating that Anwar al-Awlaki spent thousands on prostitutes. These news reports are not from reliable sources. These stories have come out long after his death. People should not circulate these stories - the man is now dead and it's not right to pass around such unverified claims.
Perhaps it's just propaganda to keep in line with the narrative of the 9-11 terrorists who were allegedly seeing prostitutes before killing themselves in the 9-11 atrocities. Did anybody really believe that people who were so devoted to their religion were going to be partying, drinking and having sex with prostitutes/strippers on the eve of their suicide mission. That narrative didn't sit right back then and nor does it sit right now.
