Christians Warned Against Pastor Saeed Abedini

Right, this Pastor, Saeed Abedini, who is locked up in an Iranian jail allegedly for his 'Christian evangelical activities' is becoming a big name amongst the Christian right wing.

Interesting, ANOTHER Eastern Christian becoming big in American evangelist circles!

I'd just like to remind Christians in the West about a number of corrupt and dishonest Eastern Christians who have gained varying degrees of fame and fortune in America:

Ergun Caner - This Turkish-origin guy was even speaking gibberish and passing it off as Arabic to Christian audiences. Such was the extent of liberties this guy was taking.

Walid Shoebat - this Arab guy came to you with what appears to be a bogus story of being an ex terrorist while collecting your cash.

Sam Shamoun - This Assyrian-Kuwaiti guy has been showing Christian evangelism up for over a decade now as an internet apologist (literally making stuff up such as 'Islam allows sex with animals')

Kamal Saleem - this Arab fella came to your door with that tried and tested, 'I used to be a terrorist' spiel  and interestingly enough he brought more than one version of a conversion story!

Usama Dakdok - This Egytian Copt came to you with a bunch of lies whilst claiming he's done a 'true translation of the Quran' - he has no qualifications in classical Arabic.

What the average American does not know about Muslim countries in general, there's a ton of poverty and a number of corrupt people there who will do and say anything for a fistful of dollars. Yep, there folk who are willing to fly over to America and feed you with a load of stuff they think you want to hear for the exchange of cash. Cash. CASH!

Now I'm not saying anything stupid such as Pastor Saeed Abedini is not in prison. I'm asking you to be wary. There's the claim that Pastor Saeed Abedini is responsible for setting up about 100 churches in 30 different Iranian cities. I'm just saying be wary. He may have set up that number of churches or he (or somebody else) may have exaggerated the figure.

Be wary of his claims. Just be wary. Eastern Christians have taken you for a ride in the arena of 'Christian evangelism to Muslims' many, many times before.

Don't make Pastor Saeed Abedini a celebrity within your Christian communities in America or elsewhere like you did with Ergun Caner. Look what happened to him.

Don't use the imprisonment of Pastor Saeed Abedini as a tool to unleash anti-Muslim sentiment. Your right wing has a habit of using the misery, suffering and even death of Christians to hate-monger against Muslims and Islam. Pathetic.

Do do something positive. Rather sitting around moaning about Iran and Muslims, write a letter to your respective Iranian embassy and ask the authorities in Tehran to look into matters.

Invited to Islam

Jesus taught people to do the Will of God (according to Mark 3:35) in order to become his brothers, mothers or sisters. A Muslim means one who submits to the Will of God. Do you want to become a brother/sister of Jesus? If yes, become a Muslim.

On March 6, 2014, Texas wildlife wrangler Río Tenango of The No Greater Love Project publicly announced his willingness to serve Pastor Saeed Abedini's remaining sentence in part or whole. This would allow Abedini to receive immediate medical attention and be reunited with his family.[13] Tenango views the proposal as a viable alternative to the unheeded demands made by prominent U.S. voices that call for Abedini's immediate and unconditional release.[14] Supporters of the proposal include actor Louis Herthum.
