Queenie Padilla Setting Example For Muslim Women in Show Business

Queenie Padilia has quit show business because of its requirement for immodest dress. Queenie Padilla is leading the way in encouraging Muslim women to return to the Islamic dress code. There's a lot of pressure on Muslim women in the media to loosen their dress sense to blend in with their contemporaries and colleagues. In an age where nudity and semi-nudity is becoming more and more common even in Muslim countries it's great to learn about people such as Queenie Padilla who have rejected show business in order to adhere to the Islamic dress code.

The story of Queenie Padilla should be made known to all young Muslim girls in the West and those in the entertainment industry in Muslim countries. As Muslims we should recognise imitation of the Western MTV and pop culture is not going to help us in any social and religious affairs.

May Allah strengthen the Muslim men and women around the world. Ameen

Queenie Padilla is a Filipino-Australian actress and daughter of actor Robin Padilla.[1][2][3] She is arguably best known for quitting show business and embracing Islam at the age of twenty.[4][5][6][7][8] She went to Hajj and said "When I was in showbiz, I was very unhappy. I was lost and I always felt I never belong. But now that Allah is in my life...I am so happy and content." She also added that she will not go back to show business. She explained, "it's forbidden for us to be in show business because it requires you to show your entire body. Actually, I already quit [showbiz] like eight months [ago]". [Wikipedia]

Christians having dreams and converting to Islam:

Invitation to Islam Jesus taught people to do the Will of God (according to Mark 3:35) in order to become his brothers, mothers or sisters. A Muslim means one who submits to the Will of God. Do you want to become a brother/sister of Jesus? If yes, become a Muslim.
