Christian Hijabi Interviewed by Muslim Hijabi

This is amazing. A Muslim hijab wearing woman came across a CHRISTIAN hijab wearing woman and interviewed her.

It's interesting that the Christian woman felt the hijab helped her to lower her gaze when guys were around. The Christian lady is saving her hair for her future husband and she is opposed to the over-sexualisation of women in Western societies - she even threw 80% of her old clothes away as they were not appropriate (such as clubbing clothes).

I hope this video helps Christians and others to understand further about some of the benefits of the hijab and further look into Islam's teachings on modesty.

Christian who wears hijab/veil

I just wish the pastor who was questioning the hijab watches this video and learns something from it. Also, early Christians such as Paul did promote the idea of head covering according to Geza Vermes and saw the woman without the head covering as a temptation.

Statistics show Muslims to have the least premarital sex out of all the major faith groups studied:

Christian man defends hijab wearing women

An old post:

My friend (Jack) from TogetherForPeace speaks out against hatred against the hijab. Note, I apologise for some of his language, he was emotional and I can personally vouch for Jack as a fair man. The Christian hate preachers which this site has been encountering over the years (and some of their followers) can learn a great deal from Jack.

Please note, Jack is a well respected Christian and is not amongst those who waste their time on anti-Muslim hate sites. I just hope this inspires other Christians to speak out against haters amongst the Christian community.

I really hope this can inspire some Christians to stand up against Christians who are picking on Muslims on the internet...it requires backbone, courage and a stand up type of person to do this. Are you capable of this?

God bless Jack and God bless all fair people. May Allah guide him to Islam. Ameen

Invitation to Islam

Jesus taught people to do the Will of God (according to Mark 3:35) in order to become his brothers, mothers or sisters. A Muslim means one who submits to the Will of God. Do you want to become a brother/sister of Jesus? If yes, become a Muslim.

From Minoria:

I understand what Jack is feeling except that he should have said that even if you accept that wearing a veil is obligatory for Christian women(which I don't)it is ONLY when in CHURCH.

It is not round the clock. In the West it's that we don't see any connection between veiling and modesty.Hair is hair, seeing it doesn't make a man much more(or none at all) attracted to a woman. So the argument is mysterious to us.

REGARDING ANOTHER DETAIL

Jack forgot to add that there is also a cultural aspect. This is crucial.I said this before, now for the first centuries(following the Greek and Roman custom, and besides,it was part of their culture)the early Christians would KISS EACH OTHER on the cheek(or maybe even mouth):

1.Men would kiss men

2.Women would kiss men

3.And women would kiss women.
During the church service,it was the KISS OF PEACE:it's in:
Romans 16:16
1 Peter 5:14
I Corinthians 16:20
II Corinthiens 13:12
I Thessalonians 5:26

Now for cultural reasons it is no longer done,it is considered to be an affront to a woman's modesty. No longer does a man kiss a woman who is a complete stranger in church, there is no longer any KISS of PEACE during the service.

ABOUT IF ISLAM IS IN FAVOR OF KILLING UNARMED MEN,WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN A WAR

That is done by Al-Qaida,Hamas,Hezbullah and they claim to be Muslim. But in traditional Islam you don't see it as part of war strategy and tactics.Killing unarmed civilians was done by some, like Tamerlane, but it was part of his psychotic personality.

The thing is Osama and others have argued that non-Muslim civilians are not innocent, therefore it's ok to kill them.Or if they are innocent, like children, not to worry, they would go to heaven.

However that argument is a late 20th century idea,it's not taken from an Islamic guidebook on war that has been used since Muhammad's time.So I am not convinced that one can in all logic say that Islam per se,as Muhammad understood it, allows for random killing of innocent civilians.
