The Neturei Karta are a small, unpopular group amongst the Orthodox Jews. They believe that Zionism is a blasphemy of the highest order against Judaism and the laws of the Torah. They stick to the laws of the Torah and believe that it is unholy to steal people's lands and persecute them in the name of religion.

Since they are not blinded by Zionism, they can point out the realities of the Israeli genocide and holocaust being inflicted on the Palestinians.
We Muslims should ...be aware of these groups (and also recognize that they are a small minority that is, unfortunately for us, not representative of mainstream Judaism). I've had the privilege to meet Rabbi Weiss multiple times and consider him to be an ally against the racist apartheid policies of Zionism.

Along with the Neturei Karta, there are also many secular and liberal Jews who are opposed to the policies of Israel (and at times of Zionism as well) purely on humanitarian grounds. They stand with us in truth and justice - may Allah increase their ranks!

Muslim Scholar on Israel and Palestine - Dr Yasir Qadhi

 

Recent events in the Palestinian Occupied Territories are exposing the apartheid regime for what it is. We are currently seeing mainstream news agencies just beginning to highlight some of the injustices that are endemically (and punitively!) performed by the Israeli government. The tide of public opinion will change insha Allah, despite whatever Rupert Murdoch and Fox News try to do. Truth will always prevail in the end.

Muslims need to collectively be vocal about such atrocities and show their colleagues and friends the real face of Israeli aggression. This can be done by frequently forwarding relevant news items, or sharing them on Facebook or Twitter. Collectively, we CAN make a difference.

Daily Mail Accused of Anti-Muslim Deception...

The following comment was posted on a online chat forum for Muslims yesterday inviting responses:

Some of the other members of the forum became suspicious by the strange comment and decided to check the new member’s ISP address:

More up-to-date checks of the ISP address by other members of the forum showed the comment was posted by someone working at the Daily Mail Group (the Evening Standard used to be part of the Daily Mail Group):

The whole thread has now been deleted from the forum but it can still be viewed on Google’s webcache here.

So it seems the Daily Mail ordered one of their journalists to pose as an extremist on a Muslim forum to try to elicit comments they could use for an anti-Muslim story.
Fortunately they were busted.

In a civilised society, a national newspaper journalist trying to stir up hatred and controversy with lies and subterfuge should be so professionally shameful it would normally lead to the sack for the hack concerned and investigations into standards of journalistic accountability at the publication.

At the Daily Mail – it’s just another day at the office.

Muslim Countries Should Speak Up for Uighur Muslims - Fasting Banned in China

Muslim countries really need to use their political influence in persuading China to lift the restrictions on Uighur Muslims. Saudi Arabia and other gulf Muslim countries have economic power while Pakistan, Bangladesh and Tajikistan are geographically closer to China. These countries should do more to speak up for the rights of Muslims in China.

Chinese Uighurs defy Ramadan ban

The government's attempt to clamp down on religious expression has backfired among Uyghurs.

Kashgar, China - Chinese authorities have imposed restrictions on Uighur Muslims during the month of Ramadan, banning government employees and school children from fasting, in what rights groups say has become an annual attempt at systematically erasing the region's Islamic identity. 
Chinese authorities have justified the ban on fasting by saying it is meant to protect the health of students, and restrictions on religious practices by government officials are meant to ensure the state does not support any particular faith.

Yet in Kashgar, in Xinjiang province, China's westernmost city, close to the border with Tajikstan and Kyrgyztan, Uighur Muslims say the restrictions have backfired. Not only have locals become more observant of Islamic practices, but many have found ways to flaunt Chinese laws restricting everything from who may attend the mosque, to which copies of the Quran are read.

Governments Falsely Label People as 'Al Qaeda'...

Labelling opponents 'al-Qaeda' allows repressive governments to do what they want with limited international criticism. After 11 September governments can expect American support, bot material and moral, to help counter any perceived Islamic extremism threat. During the autumn of 2001 al-Qaeda cells, previously undetected, were 'discovered' in scores of countries. Tashkent suddenly branded the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, a group whose links to Bin Laden are tenuous, as 'al-Qaeda'. For Beijing it was the Uighur Muslims who were designated as the local branch of Bin Laden's network, despite the fact that, though some individuals in some of the various Muslim groups resisting Chinese rule in the southeast of China may, at one time or another, have spent time in Afghan training camps, unrest in the region dates back to the first moments of Chinese domination. In Macedonia in March 2002 eight young Pakistani men were shot dead by police. The minister of the interior was swift to proclaim a victory for his, fairly unsavoury, government in the war against bin Laden. The men were merely illegal economic migrants. When I visited the Tunisian embassy in London in January 2002 I was shown a list of 'Muslim extremists living in Britain allegedly linked to bin Laden'. The list comprised well-known, largely left wing, dissidents who the Tunisians had been trying to quieten for a decade or more.

...One of the most egregious examples of this sort of manipulation is in Kashmir. The fact that bin Laden has never shown any real interest in the disputed Himalayan mountain state, let alone tried to go there, has not stopped repeated attempts by Indian intelligence to claim his presence there.

Elton John WRONG about Jesus (pbuh)

Elton John is being reported as claiming that Jesus would have supported gay marriage.

If Elton John really believes what the newspapers are claiming he believes about Jesus then he is clearly in error. Elton John is clearly wrong!

When Jesus (p) returns to earth he will follow Islam. Islam forbids homosexual sex. Clearly Elton John is wrong.

Even if one looks at Christian tradition, one can clearly see that orthodox Christianity would also disagree with Elton John's claims:

According to the NT, Jesus promotes marriage between man and woman as natural and as the only legitimate union. Jesus is reported to have said:

4"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'
5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?
6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." (Matthew 19: 4-6)

If that is not sufficient then there is further (and even stronger) evidence of Jesus opposing the idea of homosexuality. Jesus is reported to have said:

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17)

So, we see through this quotation that Jesus was supporting the Law; we also know Jesus was an expert and a teacher of the Law. So what does the Law say about homosexuality? We can get the answer from Leviticus which reports:

" 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22)

In fact Leviticus goes further by reporting:

" 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. (Leviticus 20:13)
