Just in case the Malaysian Airlines planes was a target for a terrorist attack (by Muslims) we must refresh ourselves on the fact that Muslims have condemned terrorism and these actions are not allowed in Islam. Here is a statement of condemnation by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia:
Hijacking planes, terrorizing innocent people and shedding blood constitute a form of injustice that can not be tolerated by Islam, which views them as gross crimes and sinful acts”

Missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 may have turned back from its scheduled route before vanishing from radar screens, deepening the mystery surrounding the fate of the plane and the 239 people aboard.
The plane lost communication with air traffic control two hours into it's journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing at 5.30pm GMT on Friday.
It has now emerged two passengers, who both bought tickets for the flight at the same time, were travelling on passports, one Italian and one Austrian, which had been stolen in Thailand several years ago.
Investigators are studying CCTV of the 'suspect' passengers for clues.
After more than 24 hours there is still no sign of a wreckage of the Boeing 777-200, which is now presumed crashed in the sea between Malaysia and Vietnam.
Air safety experts are investigating whether an airliner that mysteriously vanished in the Far East could have been the target of a terrorist attack.
More than twenty-four hours after Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared over the South China Sea, the only clue to the fate of its 239 passengers and crew was the revelation that the identities of four people on board, including two using stolen passports, were being investigated.
The disclosure raised fears that terrorists could have used false passports to board the craft, which vanished with no prior signals of trouble to air traffic controllers.
Those fears increased when Malaysian authorities later confirmed that they were liaising with the FBI over the suspect identities. The four under suspicion had all bought their flight tickets through China Southern Airlines, said a security official.
